Location and Ambience: L'Abbaye is located in the heart of Lille, right on the main square. It features an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a coffee while watching the city life – a great spot for a break during sightseeing.
Service: The service is fast, professional, and efficient, with no unnecessary delays or complications.
Food: The burger was tasty, but for the price of €20, it wasn’t anything special – decent, but nothing exceptional.
Pricing: The restaurant falls into a higher price range, which is expected given its central location.

Read moreAwful behaviour! First night we had dinner and we were happy with the food, despite that the server was a bit abrupt, the usual when they serve tourists that are not French. We have decided to go next day again as we liked the beer and eat some small bits. We wanted to sit inside as it was freezing. When we start ordering desserts the server interrupt us very rude saying that desserts can be eaten only outside?? I never heard more absurd thing and i was actually going to order smth else if he waited to finish the order. Then he just turned showing that he doesn’t care if we stay or go. I understand u French people are quite racists to people who are not French but after all we are customers spending money in your bussines. Learn some manners.
P.S reading the other reviews I see we were not the only ones treated this way. You need to revise your staff members. We did not had such experience in any other...
Read moreWe went to eat with my sister and my 2 little children. Unfortunately arriving to the restaurant the battery of my sisters mobile phone was out of charge. I showed my QR and my sister got the opportunity to charge her phone. I asked if I could order the food for my children, because they were hungry. They answered that until the phone of my sister wasn't charged I couldn't order, nor receive any service, and we both needed to leave if she wouldn't show her QR code soon. So my sister felt pressured and didnt wait until the phone was charged a few procent and tried it asap everytime and it would fail. I was so furious by this rude action that I left, but it sees as if the world has gone mad. Who are you refusing a mother with her children service for food and drink while she showen her QR code and her sister was just waiting for her phone to...
