La Houblonnière — Restaurant in Lille

We did a day trip to Lille, France from Rotterdam. We'are visiting Rotterdam and the surroundings for 8 days. After roaming around Lille's Center for 2.5 hours, started to feel hungry. We wanted to grab dinner at the center before heading back to Rotterdam. We decided to dine at La Houblonniere after reading their menu selections. So many delicious looking starters and entrees. Coming from a picky eater like me, that means a lot. We got the upstairs seating which was PERFECT, away from the crowds and noise. We ordered the stuffed mussels for our starter!/appetizer, they were soooo delish, I wanted to order 2nd. :) The stuffed mussels had bread crumbs with fried minced garlic, gave each bite a nice crunch and great garlic aroma. So yummy. For my entree I went with saulty crepe with bechamel sauce, gruyere, ham, and mushrooms. Each entree came with a side of fresh salad. The crepe was so tasty, the bechamel and gruyere together was such a good compliment, cheesy but not overpowering the ham flavor. The ham was not salty, and the mushrooms gave the dish a perfect texture. Highly recommend this dish. My husband got the braised beef in beer... Omg, it was so tasty. With the gravy sauce, you can taste the beer in gravy sauce. So flavorful. Next time we're in Lille for sure we will dine here again. I will order 2 orders of the stuffed mussels, the saulty crepe, braised beef, and mussels in white wine and chives dish to share with hubby....

Let me help you in this regard: 1)Under whatsoever condition, you can’t reveal our identities here but this has already been addressed to Google. 2)If you have rules about the tables and menu times, I advise you to communicate this to your customers before ushering them to the tables. Serveur présent rapide et disponible. Nourriture classique, prix raisonnable par contre oubliez le Poket Ball car c’est immangeable aucune saveur, petit pois à la place de Edamame, carottes râpée et choix rouge râpée, avocat dur pas encore mûr seulement la mange et le saumon sont corrects. Je ne parle même pas du riz trop cuit limite porridge. Le cuisinier ne sait ou ne veut pas apprendre à faire ce plat si simple et si savoureux si l’on se donne la peine de savoir le cuisiner. Signalement au serveur que ce plat est le pire que j’ai mangé mais aucun geste commercial c’est excusé de cette mauvaise expérience

Pour répondre à votre interrogation ! si votre serveur avait répondu par une réponse positive quand je lui ai dis que le plat était deguelasse car pas d’autres mots pour décrire votre Pojet Ball Et s’il m’avait proposé un remplacement je ne l’aurais pas manger mais comme j’avais faim et que vos serveurs même gentils ne savent pas prendre l’initiative de changer un plat quand ont dit que c’est mauvais. il en a pris note comme il m’a dit et remonte l’information à la direction mais pas plus pas moins. donc briefer un peu votre personnel comme ça vous n’aurait plus de mauvaises surprises. Moi ce qui me laisse interrogatif c’est que vous pensez qu’un client vous dénigre pour le plaisir alors que vous ne vous remettez pas en question et vous ne vous dites pas ah j’ai loupé quelque chose en cuisine je vais tester mon poker ball et un ou deux concurrents pour faire avancer le négatif en positif et améliorer mon restaurant. Restez ainsi votre carte et cuisine est parfaite digne d’un guide Michelin. La preuve nous sommes aller manger le dessert ailleurs tellement notre joie de manger chez vous...
