What an absolute Gem of a Vegan restaurant. I can’t praise the crew here enough. We arrived in Limoges after lunch service had finished and with the kitchen being closed but the guys at La Petite Graine were so welcoming and sorted us out with some delicious Hot soup & Tiramisu cake 😍 We returned Saturday for the full lunch experience, the place was packed and the vibe was perfect. We devoured the Burger with an exquisite paprika Mayo and still had room for quite possibly the best Banoffee cake we’ve ever had our lives.
I just want to send out a special mention to the owners and creators Benjamin and Naomi (the Chef). Everything they use in their recipes is produce grown in their own gardens, it doesn’t get any fresher than that, this is allows them to make more dedicated dishes centred around what’s in season. Also, all the cakes are Gluten free & divine!
There isn’t a rating high enough for these guys so all we can say is get in there, eat as much as you can and you won’t be disappointed.
We’ll be back soon, until then, good luck guys, not that you need it!
au revoir et merci pour...
Read moreWe had the most fabulous visit, actually two of them! Some of the staff speak very good English, so it was easy to communicate when we were there, so I didn't have to try too hard with my limited French. We had the menu explained and decided to go for the veggie plate and the cheese platter. Both were delicious! The vegan cheese is always an adventure and sometimes can be great and sometimes not so much, so we were very pleasantly surprised that their cheeses were one of the best we have ever eaten! Most of the ingredients they use are local, which we also appreciate. We tried black sesame cheesake which was delicious, and in fact, it was so good that we decided to come a couple of days later for a birthday treat (pictured chocolate cake and a snickers cake). If we are ever back in Limoges, we will definitely...
Read moreWhat luck to find this excellent vegan restaurant in the heart of Limoges! The team is so friendly and enthusiastic about their food offerings, and once you taste what the have to offer, you find yourself being just as enthusiastic. I had the adzuki bean burger and a strawberry and vanilla cheesecake. Both were over-the-top good, and I should add that I found the whole-grain bun, made by a local boulanger, to be excellent as well. I washed that down with an equally good local artisanal beer and a latte. And then the surprise! The chef is a bodybuilder as well as a trained chef and she rocks! This restaurant’s cuisine should be on everyone’s favorites list, whether they are vegetarian or not. Everything here is plant-based, fresh,...
