We cannot fault the food here it was fantastic. Great depth of diverse flavours across the 4 dishes we chose. Where the restaurant failed for us was on the service. There were two people dining when we arrived. The waiter made out it was a big inconvenience to try to seat us. We were then allocated a table in a pretty undesirable location. We assumed they must have lots of reservations, but then cut to moments later, just random French people arriving and sitting wherever they pleased without even speaking to the waiter...clearly not reservations...and they received a warm welcome. He did warm to us by half a degree when he later realised this, but otherwise we weren't really welcomed. Its a shame, because the chef is clearly talented and good, but the the waiting staff out front really make non French people feel welcome and so they could probably make much better tips, but when you are treated like sh!t, you're not really inclined to...
Read moreWe were met at the front by a busy waiter, we asked if they had a table for 2, being a Sunday night they had empty tables inside. He directed us to take a seat inside, which we did. At this stage, hungry and disappointed, we left. The waitress looked at us with a smirk on her face. This is an odd business model for a restaurant and really upsetting as we chose this place for the...
