I really enjoyed the meal that I had here. I would say that overall, it is a better experience than the Elephant restaurant. It is close to Elephant but a little more off the path; a block west and south of Elephant near a roundabout.

I had the cumin beef with rice; great flavor, spices, and the right amount of heat. Paired with a Kirin, I had a great meal. The meal and beer were reasonably priced as well. The service was fast as my meal was ready in under 15 minutes and they were pretty full too!

I wanted to try the pot of spicy pork tripe or beef slices in Sichuan broth...but was told it was for two; I may get it another time just to try and see if I can take back the rest. But I will be back to try something else, that's for sure.

Non French and Chinese speakers, do yourself a favor and visit their website to prepare beforehand. Although most of the menu does have pictures, I've found a little preparation...

The place was small, with simple interiors. But the food looked very close to authentic Chinese cuisine. The good part is that, like any other Chinese restaurant, the photos of all items were there in the menu. It was truly helpful. There was little misunderstanding due to our poor French, but they spoke English too. And they took little time to take our orders. Overall it was a good experience and we will...

Mon grand classique c’est le bœuf épicé ou poivre suivant les restaurant qui est servis encore crépitant sur une plaque chauffante avec des oignons et des poivrons, et je n’y ai pas dérogé! C’est un régal et tellement copieux. En entrée, j’ai gouté les nems et les raviolis 🦁
