We visited Lyon for a business trip with a coworker and were recommended this street for some excellent dinners.
We wanted to give a second try on some local french cusine and this place seemed to be filled with people and the food looked delicious
We chose the menu "Menu Tradition" for 28,9€ / person which turned out to be a good choice.
I chose for my set: Starter: "Velouté de potiron, escargots persillés" - Pumpkin soup with some herb & garlic Snails Main: "Fricassée de rognons et ris de veau au Porto" - Some kidneys with a sauce of portwine Dessert: Creme dessert
For the wine we chose a 50ish euro bottle of Hértiers Gambert Nobles Rives Crozes-Hermitage from 2022.
The starter was amazing, the texture and taste of the soup were perfect and the snails crowned the whole experience off.
For the main I wanted to try something rather French, so I gave the kidneys a try. For my palate they did not taste so good, however my coworker tried one and to him they were perfect, so while a miss for me personally, a well cooked dish!
For the dessert I took a creme dessert which was very delicious.
Extra credit to our waitress, she was really friendly and helped us as best as possible!

Read moreWonderful dinner! Outstanding quenelles, service, atmosphere and overall menu.
Staff were apologetic when they sat us next to a table of 20, but it just made the atmosphere lively and didn't affect service at all.
We chose the €23 menu and couldn't have been happier. Yvonne's Plate was a brilliant taster of red-wine poached egg & liver soufflé; the leek salad was sweet and tasty - both were excellent!
For mains, the pork filet mignon was good, but nothing special. The quenelles, however, were glorious - smooth and light, in a rich lobster sauce with a silky liver soufflé on the side, now I understand all the fuss about Lyonnaise food.
Marc was our waiter, Lyon-born and Florida-bred, he was no-fuss and quick with a joke. His English made our night easier, but all of the staff were great.
Definitely recommend, don't walk...
Read moreWe checked all the restaurants down this really cozy and nice street, I would recommend checking out the street anyway, and I decided to go to Thai one just because of the way it looked due to lack of french speaking a reading myself. It was full so it must be a good sign right?
Was indeed a charming experience. The interior design had a characteristic of its own and the waiter was edgy but friendly. Typical stressed out for such a workload but always kept things interesting and enjoyable small chat. This is more of a good efeedback than anything.
And the food Wow was seriously Impressive. It was on point. Really tasty and at a very very good price. No matter what we ordered it tasted good, the cocktails, the escargot, the main meal. Seriously...
