We had a very disappointing experience here. My husband had made a reservation in advance and even noted that we would be coming with a baby and a stroller. When we arrived on time, the person at the door immediately told us we would have to sit upstairs. My husband simply asked if we could wait a few minutes for a table downstairs, and the response was incredibly rude. We were told we would need to wait an hour and a half, even though the restaurant had just opened. There was no willingness to help or even basic courtesy.
We went upstairs anyway, trying to stay polite. We asked for a high chair — it was never brought until we asked a second time. The waitress didn’t greet us at all, just walked up and said, “What do you want?” The attitude from the staff was cold and dismissive from start to finish.
Food-wise, it didn’t get better. The pizza was completely burnt underneath, and the toppings were laughably scarce — my husband’s had almost no ham at all, especially disappointing for the price they charge. It felt careless, rushed, and honestly disrespectful.
Overall, the experience was truly shameful. Awful customer service, no effort to accommodate, and poor quality food. We left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Definitely would not return and...
Read moreMy husband and I drove 4 hours and arrived to Peppe Pizzeria about 15 minutes before closing. We walked in and asked for a table (almost no one in France will seat you this late), they let us know that they wouldn’t seat us. HOWEVER they did offer take away which we gladly accepted since we were starving. The waitress taking our to-go order was very helpful and friendly. The pizzas took about 10 minutes and were VERY delicious. More delicious than the pizza we had in Italy!! The next day, my husband and I were struggling to find anything good for dinner and decided to go back since we enjoyed the pizza so much. We got there about 30min before opening and they let us know that we need to come back closer to opening time to get in line. We get there 10 minutes before closing before they open and there was quite a line already formed with maybe about 7 groups of people ahead of us. We were seated (they let us know we only have 1hr) and we enjoyed some of the best pizza for the last time before flying out. I overall recommend coming earlier, make a reservation ahead of time if possible, and be prepared to have the best (most authentic) Italian pizza...
Read moreI'm a local, working close by so eating here is a weekly occurrence. I'm posting this less than a year after the opening. I would clearly recommend eating here once, twice or more.
Food (4/5) : my overall experience with the food is very good. Pizzas are excellents, clearly among my local top3 (hard to know, local competition is ferocious). The only feedback I can give is that sadly we've seen pastas for a month, maybe two, before they disappeared from the menu.
Service (3/5) : following the pasta issue mentioned above, service was explaining us that it was due to a technical issue from the pasta machine... For... 5 months. I can understand such issues but 5 months is just too much from a customer point of view. If you don't plan to serve pastas clearly admit it, if your contractor let you down say it as well.
Atmosphere (5/5) : excellent atmosphere, the Vespa on top of the entrance is...
