One fine evening, we arrived in Lyon with the mission to find some comfort food to replenish us after hauling our luggages on and off the train ride from Lourdes 🤓 and so glad we came to Noucademie Xi’an.
They have two places side by side in the lovely Rue des Marronniers. We came into the noodle specialty one but were able to order items from the other.
A uniquely designed space and friendly crew that right away embraces you with warmth, and their bowls of noodle! How hearty delicious and comforting, we enjoyed every bite of it (ordered the tomato & egg pork with biangbiang wide noodle and tomato & egg beef with spinach noodle).
Tasty on its own, even more special with a dash of chili oil. Savory sweet tangy familiarity really made us happy. Don’t forget to mix everything up beforehand.

The noodles are delicious, I like the biang biang and raviolis noodle soup (never tried the cold dishes though, not my type). MAY 2025: I did try the cold noodles, very suitable for a hot day :))
The waiters were pleasant. I still remember the first time I went there, I asked for a recommendation and I tried the guy's personal favorite. Still my favorite today (classic biang biang noodles with pork, tomato...
