Smoké and Fries — Restaurant in Lyon

I was craving a hamburger and fries, then found Smoke and Fries on my Google search. Nearby with solid reviews so I popped in for lunch. It was almost the end of the lunch service and I quickly found a table to enjoy my meal. The team helped me select a sandwich (no cheese) and recommended the perfect beer. Thank you for the kind assist :). My meal arrived quickly and was such a delight when I opened up the box and I was met with a clean, scrumptious waft of smoke. It was a sign of good things to come. I enjoyed every bite of my sandwich: tender, flavorful pastrami, perfectly seasoned onions, and special sauce. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We stopped in for lunch and were welcomed with a very kind and sweet lady who answered all my questions. I ordered the pastrami sandwich which came like a burger in a smoked box with fries, you open up this box and smell magic. It was very tasty and came with a pile of fries and truffle mayo yum. It's important to note that this isn't like a traditional pastrami sandwich like in MTL or NYC w mustard etc but it was really good. My friend got the pull porked burger, and she said it was tasty as well. We didn't have room for dessert but had to try the white chocolate and raspberry cookie, very good but sweet and the little lemon cheesecake was to die for. The best pastrami burger and chicken burger we’ve ever had! The food is so good and I’ve been craving it ever since.

The service was phenomenal. They didn’t have an English menu, but the woman who took our order happily translated for us and gave suggestions.
