Delicious, generous, no fuss dinner spot!

The food was absolutely delicious and highly generous in portions. We had a sausage tagine and grilled chicken kebabs with stir fried veg and they were all completely delicious. The tagine came with a couscous portion that could easily feed 4 people, 5 sausages, a big stock pot of veggies and a generous bowl of chickpeas & raisins to add to your liking. Considering they also provided complimentary olives, as well as ordering a beer, cinnamon espresso and mint tea (also delicious), this came to €45. Perfectly priced.

The service was very speedy and they were very kind considering we are english. The manager was always around checking on us and there was a very no fuss, no funny business attitude that felt genuine. None of the fake happy waiter facades you get in many places. Also loved that there was an open kitchen with a culturally diverse range of staff, including female chefs. This is important to me personally.

I had to mark 4* only because the chicken was slightly fatty, though i’m not sure if it is meant to be this way on a grilled kebab. Still, would...

I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. Some dishes were mediocre, such as the couscous, which lacked flavor and creativity. However, other dishes were outright disappointing. For instance, the skewers, priced at €25, were a major letdown. They included only two small pieces of meat and a small, tasteless sausage that the staff initially forgot to serve. When they finally brought it to the table, it was clear that it had been overlooked in terms of both preparation and presentation. The "traditional" chicken tajine was particularly underwhelming. Described as a traditional dish, it was anything but. It consisted of a single chicken leg with very little else on the plate. The flavors were bland, and the dish lacked the rich, aromatic qualities one would expect from a well-prepared tajine.Overall, the meal was very bad and quite expensive for the quality and quantity of food provided. The high prices did not match the poor dining experience. I left feeling both disappointed and shortchanged. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and...

Visited this restaurant as locals recommend us and we do not regret our decision despite of few bad reviews I have read.

The Service was excellent, they did not speak much of english but we were able to manage, they kindly gave us an option for the English menu which we could access by QR code as well as they recommend us what we should try for appetizers.

The food was delicious, we didn't wait too much for it, I loved their way of serving on the traditional plates. I loved how hot the food was when brought to us. The deserts as well were delicious. (writing this review one day later just to confirm there was no problem such as food poison as I read other reviews, we are all good)

Location of the restaurant is beautiful, sitting outside you have great ambience.

The downside would be the toilet I would say as there was one open which you could use (which I didn't as it didn't look quite clean)

TIP: you must try their mint tea, is phenomenal, such great aroma, it completes the whole meal :)

Would recommend for you to try, great food,...

As a tourist who has also been to Morocco, I can say that Le Souk is the real deal. It’s on the port where you have a view of Notre Dame if you sit on the terrace. For the appetizers, we got the three meat pastries which we would recommend. We then ate a royal couscous and a lamb tagline with prunes and almonds. If we were to restart, we would not get the couscous. We got the assortment of Moroccan pastries for dessert but should have gotten another option.
