To say this place is abysmal is an understatement. Once we ordered our food it took over an hour to arrive, myself and my partners mains (the only things we ordered on the menu) were both served half an hour apart. An entire hour after taking our order and once my food had been served a waiter approached us to re ask what my partner had ordered… every time we wanted a staff members attention we had to physically go up and ask them to come over to our table. There were two waiters in the entire restaurant - one of which we caught picking his nose before serving food to another table. The cocktails we ordered were extremely watery and the pasta I ordered was bland with not a seasoning in sight - no amount of salt and pepper could save this meal. €28 for a prawn pasta that arrived freezing cold and only included 3 prawns - an absolute disgrace and actually laughable. Upon paying we explained the above and that we had essentially eaten our meals separately. This was met with not a care in the world as we were told ‘that’s just how it’s served’ - one of the waiters even scoffed in our face. Eventually they removed half the price of my prawn pasta, which to be honest wasn’t satisfactory at all - someone with no tastebuds could have cooked a better dish. Best meal of my last trip in France. I was doubtful about pizza in France but we came because of the instagram reels and it was worth the trip!! The must get would be the pistachio crust pizza - we got the chef’s pizza which had tomato sauce, burrata and some cured meat. It was beyond delicious. I love how the dough and crust is chewy - great texture in the pizza. The pistachio on the crust really added flavor to the crust. We also had a second pizza - carbonara; but unfortunately we didn’t like it. There was just oil, mild flavored cheese and guanciale. Adding spicy oil didn’t help to save it as it was already oily.. probably a sunny side up will greatly elevate this pizza. The place fills up quickly and a line forms before it opens. Disappointed even though we were excited to try. We had an early reservation and entered the empty restaurant. “Sit any where you like” so we selected a good view. “Not there!” He barked at us. We selected another. “Not there!” again. Ok why don’t you tell us where. I can say the service did not improve from there. No one working there seemed to know what was happening or ever communicated with each other. It felt like it was run by high school students. We thought the food would make up for it, but we ordered the Burrata Pizza and the Burrata was too cold so it created condensation and water in the middle of the pizza. The calamari was clumpy.
