Bon Jour Viewers, On my 2nd day in France, I normally like started my day in French style as I am officially outside of US. I follow 3 rules closely, 1) no Starbuck 2) cappuccino 3) somewhere I can sit down to watch people walk like in Paul's cafe. when I arrived at TGV train station, Starbucks and Paul cafe is side by side, I decide to completed ignore Starbucks and walk right into Paul even thought more people are waiting in Starbucks. while I was waiting in line, I saw a fly hanging on top of the pastry and refuse to leave, and it seem not bothering the customers or staffs, I guess that's the norm. 😉. I really thought people will care, but I guess not.
traditionally, French style breakfast served with sweet, but I like to get the savory, and I am confused if some of the pastry is sweet or savory type. for example, I saw a pie looks like a Quincy, but I saw "flan" in title, so I assume it's a flan pie?
The casher's speak fluent English, so I don't act very awkward when I order the foods in English. I end up ordering a cappuccino and maybe a chicken sandwich? because I was under the impression that savory sandwich will be toast, and sweet one is not. I am wrong 😑 they just bag sandwich and pass it to me. another lesson learned.
the sandwich is cold means it will be very hard to chew on, and I make sure I fully exercise my jaw and eating it slowly. the seating is very busy, and I pick a windows seat, so I can watch people walking by while working on my sandwich. oddly, I soon have another customers sitting very close to me, and asked if I can give them some space. 😅
I can't say good or bad about his place as Paul offers a good selection of pastry, sandwich, automated coffee dispenser, and seating area. what more can a customer ask for? the moment I walk outside I regard that I pick Paul as my first breakfast place as I saw a Nutella filling brioche bread in the next...
Read moreThe worst customer service. I would suggest avoiding this Paul's store at the airport. I asked the guy at the counter a question about the coffee and he just directly prepared a drink for me. I asked him again if it was the drink that I ordered, and he just shrugged his shoulders without saying anything. After trying to understand what I am actually paying for, a lady at the counter asked this guy my question; he just said something and turned around mumbling. Very rude service, which I did not expect from Paul's store given that in the past I have had much nicer experiences. I strongly recommend them to please train the staff at this store at the airport for a better interaction with customers, especially given the international nature of the...

It’s very disappointed with the employees who work in the international airport but they are racist(yes, not just one employee do this to their customer.)
