Die Liebe zum Rugby und zu gutem Fleisch eint die Familie, die diese Grillbar in der Markthalle von Narbonne unter der Führung von Gilles Belzons betreibt, dem ehemaligen Kapitän der Rugbymannschaft RCNM. Unsere Bestellung (Pferdesteak und Hacksteak vom Rind) wurde aufgenommen und an den Boss weitergeleitet, der sie per Megaphone an die gegenüberliegende Fleischerei seiner Schwester weitergab. Von dort kam sie sorgsam eingepackt angeflogen, wurde von Bebelle geschickt aufgefangen und landete auf dem Grill, um später dann mit hausgemachten Frites und Salat serviert zu werden. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Qualität frisch und top zubereitet, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis günstig. Wir kommen wieder!

L'amour du rugby et de la bonne viande réunit la famille qui gère ce bar-grill du marché couvert de Narbonne, sous la houlette de Gilles Belzons, ancien capitaine de l'équipe de rugby RCNM. Notre commande (steak de cheval et steak haché de bœuf) a été enregistrée et transmise au patron, qui l'a transmise par mégaphone à la boucherie de sa sœur située en face. De là, elle est arrivée soigneusement emballée, a été habilement attrapée par Bebelle et a atterri sur le gril pour être ensuite servie avec des frites maison et de la salade. Le service est très aimable et serviable, la qualité est fraîche et préparée au top, le rapport qualité-prix est avantageux. Nous reviendrons!

The love of rugby and good meat unites the family that runs this barbecue bar in Narbonne's indoor market under the leadership of Gilles Belzons, former captain of the RCNM rugby team. Our order (horse steak and minced beef steak) was taken and passed on to the boss, who passed it on by megaphone to his sister's butcher's shop opposite. From there it came flying in carefully wrapped, was deftly picked up by Bebelle and landed on the grill to be served later with homemade fries and salad. The service is very friendly and helpful, the quality fresh and top-prepared, the price-performance ratio favourable. We will be back!

El amor por el rugby y la buena carne une a la familia que regenta este bar-barbacoa en el mercado interior de Narbona bajo la dirección de Gilles Belzons, antiguo capitán del equipo de rugby del RCNM. Nos tomaron el pedido (bistec de caballo y bistec de carne picada) y se lo pasaron al jefe, que lo transmitió por megáfono a la carnicería de su hermana que está enfrente. Desde allí llegó volando cuidadosamente envuelto, fue hábilmente recogido por Bebelle y aterrizó en la parrilla para ser servido después con patatas fritas caseras y ensalada. Seeing the great reviews, we decided to have our lunch here. I have to be honest, I was disappointed. First the good points: the service was great, albeit a bit slow at times. But very friendly. The location is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Also, the fan made the heat very bearable. But that’s where it ends. The food was bland, the fries were an absolute disgrace (coming from a Belgium, maybe I’m biased, but they were still frozen inside and floppy!!), and the restaurant is massive so it takes a while for food to arrive. There are only 2 toilets for a lot of customers, so the entrance was clogged with people trying to go to the toilet. Fortunately there were some public toilets at the other side of the food hall, but it’s a shame we had to resort to that. Overall quite...

I was in a queue with a small beer before being called 35 mins later. Good tasty steak but quite a lot of fat on mine. It ranged from thick to thin, so thin was medium as requested, but thick was rare. It’s well worth the experience but I wouldn’t do it again and maybe cross the road to the restaurant or try next door.

It isn’t as good as the Le Relais de L’Entrocote and your clothes don’t stink.
