I've visited this cafe a few times now and every time has been excellent. The owner, Manuela is really friendly and nice and super helpful. The food is excellent and really homemade. It's near the seafront and handy for stopping off - if you are a cyclist en route to the Italian border. On my last visit, Mauela kindly advised me how to cross the border into Italy, avoiding the terminal tunnel - which was a lifesaver ! (Tip: You turn left at the Port Garavan traffic lights and head up the hill to Galleria Grimaldi - it's a 15% climb!) Absolutely recommended Thanks David

Lunch break in Menton! This Italian family cafe/bar is a great spot for lunch in Menton - especially on a Monday when a lot of bakeries and cafes are closed. We really loved our minestrone and focaccia. The coffee was strong, the service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
