Omg they are so unknowledgeable about vegan products… I saw they had a new drink creme brulee and brown sugar. I asked if it would be vegan if I take it with soy milk. Let me tell you, it took 2 employees, they were reading ingredients on the syrops, a cardboard, they were telling me they can’t make it without the milk (when I was just asking to switch the milk and wondering if there’s any milk powder or other milk byproducts in the syrop…) at the end, they told me it would be vegan if I take it with soy milk. Should have changed my order but I made them check for so long, I thought I’d take it… I paid and when they were making it, at the end, they asked me if I still wanted the creme brulee mix, which contains milk !!!! LOL so basically, 7€ and 15min later, all that for soy milk and brown sugar… Starbucks employees should have a little training about their products, allergens and...

Read moreI was returning to the UK after travelling Nice for 4 moths and living in France, in general, for 2 years. As it so happened I was very hungry and had about 15 euros in my bank. I attempted to pay for a meal and a coffee that was slightly more expensive at 17 euros, I thought I would give it a go and see if it goes through. It was declined, and looking very concerned, the barista (Dalil) asked me if I "didn't have any money". I fumbled nervously and said I didn't have enough. He looked around and before I even realised he used his apple pay to pay for the entire 17 euros. I was shocked and very thankful for this amazing act of kindness. He smilingly said no problem and wished me a great day with my large coffee, sandwich and piece of cake. these small acts of kindness restore hope in humanity. Thank you Dalil, you're honestly amazing.
