The loudest terrace I have ever encountered. And maybe it’s because we’re not locals and maybe it’s because I have an American accent but we had to wait for our beers. And then we had to wait for our bill asking three times. But mostly it was the crowd and it’s obnoxious snooty nature that set me off. As far as we understood there was a friend of the host who was the painter. And he sent postcards with his drawings (rather cartoons with the host of the place as a hero of these cartoons) to the host from wherever he traveled to. All these postcards are now on the walls of the place and this gives to Au Sauvignon an enormous amount of charm....
