My wife & I had been at the Musee du Luxembourg, and then checked out an art flea market. We were hungry, but were sick of eating heavy French food after over a week in country. I liked the reviews I read about it being simple and friendly. The menu had what I was craving - a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer. My wife got a steak that she loved too! She was pregnant, so when we asked to change tables (so she could have a more comfortable seat) they were very accommodating. The food was served quick by French standards, and was exactly what we wanted. Of course, we ordered dessert. I ordered a cognac with mine. We ate and drank. When I asked for the check, the waiter poured me another dram of cognac - on the house. Just tell us what do you have tonight..lol anyway, they're changing the menu for the moment so basically the prices are not the same when you pay the bill...There were very little people in the restaurant on a Friday night. I was confused because it was a nice area but now I understand why... think twice before...
