Little Davoli — Restaurant in Paris

The food was okay for a touristy area but for sure nothing to write home about. When you pay, watch what is being punched into the credit card machine by the servers!!! I was with two other people and we wanted to split the bill among the three of us. I told the server the amount I wanted to pay for my meal and drink and picked my card off the table as we all had placed our cards for him to see that we wanted to split the bill. The server punched in my amount showed me the total which was correct and then said thank you. He printed off my receipt for the entire bill plus my total as his tip! When I asked for him to reverse the transaction as he had basically just scammed me, I was told it was not possible to reverse the transaction. The staff could not find our reservation but seated us anyway. We ordered Champagne, no champagne,so Prossecco was offered instead. Fine. My husband ordered the veal, and it came room temperature and not tender. It's obvious that what doesn't sell at Davoli across the street during the day gets placed on customers dishes at night. My salmon fusilli was fine. The bruchetta is not that great. The initial waitress tried, she spilled our prosecco and tried to wipe off the glass before she served them. The staff seem undertrained and unaware of details. We received our food and then were forgotten about. Our glasses were empty, no one offered a second beverage. We had to wave the waitress over and ask for parmigiano and pepper, and new drinks. Train your staff, try to think about the customers. I will never eat here again. There are far to many better...
