When you enter the restaurant you feel like you went back in time to the 90s. The interior is very unwelcoming and it smells like your grandma’s closet. The restaurant welcomes you with a kitschy fake Mona Lisa print, fake glass grapes hanging from the ceiling, and a photo-board of famous guests by the entrance - I think they’re really trying to compensate for how bad the experience is.
The famous guests are also mentioned throughout the awfully overpriced menu. Pasta arrabiata for €17? That must be a joke. It’s a dish as simple as it gets, you can make it for €4 at home!
I decided to go for Ravioli Freschi al pesto di Basilico (€19,90). Bad choice! The ravioli did not taste fresh at all! The pesto sauce was ok, fresh basil, not from a jar.
The ravioli itself however, was a complete disaster… the pasta was overcooked, way too soft, while the filling was somehow extremely dry. The texture reminded me of play-dough or clay. Not to mention it was completely tasteless! The experience of biting into this dry, bland and doughy filling was so disappointing!
I was expecting a soft and creamy, pesto-ricotta filling. Instead I got something that tasted like it came from Monoprix fridge section! I had better ravioli on airfrance!
I was going to give the restaurant 2 stars, because the entrée’s were good and the staff were friendly, but the overall experience - including the prices was so bad, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The only thing this place has to offer is the fact that some famous people went there - perhaps it used to actually be a good restaurant.
(Edit) From the restaurant’s response you can see just how snobbish the owners are! This place is not serving tasty homemade food - its just pretending to be fancy! They have no idea about my experience with Italian cuisine. Instead of taking a bad review they blame their guests for having “no taste”. (Look at...

This restaurant is significantly overpriced, charging nearly double what you'd expect to pay at comparable Paris establishments. The food quality doesn't justify the premium pricing - nothing appeared to be homemade, and despite trying multiple dishes, none stood out as particularly memorable or well-executed.
While the service was adequate and the table setting was nice, these basic touches don't warrant such inflated prices. This feels like a classic tourist trap that relies on location and reputation rather than quality to attract customers.
I'm genuinely surprised by the 4.1-star Google rating, which seems inconsistent with the experience we had. I'd encourage other diners to share honest reviews to help provide a more accurate picture for future visitors. There are many better value options in Paris that offer superior food quality at more...
Read moreThis is by far the most unauthentic Italian restaurant I’ve ever been after having travelled to Florence, sienna, Rome, Naples, Venice and Sicily. I usually don’t write any reviews but if I’m writing this, it means I’m going out of my way to share my honest experience.
The waiter was a guy with spectacles and extremely rude, House wine was merlot and terrible, no replacement after ordering. The food is barely ok but then they were quite dishonest when one of the dishes we ordered weren’t available. They modified the order and charged us extra and argued with us during billing. This was also my last night in paris which ends up as an unforgettable experience in a bad way. Oh btw, Tiramisu was a joke. There was barely any mascarpone in the cream and overly dipped in coffee. I strongly suggest to get some Italian cooking classes. I’ve no idea how so many people can rate this...
