Ba Miền Restaurant — Restaurant in Paris

First thing this restaurant needs to work on is it’s service. Terrible!!! Took a long time even to take my order. Waiter kept passing the buck to another waiter for my order and took far too long. Wife ordered a mango smoothie and that arrived promptly. But a few minutes later another smoothie arrived. This time in a slightly larger glass with a larger quantity. I returned the extra smoothie but questioned the quantity. Waitress said it was same amount which I highly doubt. Being seated next to the bar I saw a large amount of used glassware next to my head. Waitress made no attempt to clean up the mess the entire time I was there. My wife being pregnant, incorrectly ordered a non hot dish believing it was fried spring rolls. But came out cold. We asked the waiter if this was correct and could we return it for another dish. The waiter just yelled at us and said that was we ordered, this took our experience of this restaurant to another low. Invited by friends and have returned regularly since. usually we like to go to “heart of Chinatown” in the 13e. This is right beside Place d’Italie metro so really convenient. Restaurant is spacious but not overly so, just nice. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient. Food….so far honestly everything we had was really good (our vegetarian friends were a little disappointed because not great choice) - bo bun, nems, mango salad, vietnamese rice crepes, loc lac, pho - honestly so fresh & very good. And reasonably priced. 4 stars for the “three color” and “hong dou bing - red bean” coconut drinks...

I’ve been here on a handful of occasions but lately found myself coming back in the area just to eat their food.

The owners are southern vietnamese folks who really know how to whip up delicious food. Their menu is full of different varieties of soups, rice dishes or buns so you know they’re really working hard.

The place itself is super clean and the service on point. Best part is the prices are super fair.

I had pho dac biet twice at this place; both times were just as lovely as they put loads of quality meats in the soup. Broth is very nice as well.

Always a real pleasure...
