Viet Thai — Restaurant in Paris

We did not intend to dine in Viet Thai and it was a mistake we came. After visiting our friends in the neighbourhood (on 26 Dec 2023), we fancied some Vietnamese food and our friend recommended us to go to Restaurant Suave or Comme au Vietnam. But restaurant Suave was closed and the waiting time for comme au Vietnam was 30 mins. So we decided to go to Viet Thai as they had availability. After waiting for more than 45 mins we were only served with two drinks for our kids, they forgot the other two. While we were waiting for our food and drinks, two other tables which came much later than us were served with food! That was unacceptable! After traveling Europe for weeks, this was definitely what have we been looking for. Very much authentic Vietnamese food that was very much cooked with love and passion. Every dish that we ordered came out just as we expected, even with my uncle being a very picky eater when it comes to Vietnamese food, but he enjoyed it much more than anyone of us. Although we ordered a wide variety of dishes, but everything came out seasoned just right, from the broth of pho/bun bo to the meat of com tam; or even the normal eat at home dishes. The ambiance was very nice. There was adequate room in between tables so a table for two was fine. I had the Pad Se Eew, the menu said that it came with shrimp, but mine came with beef, but I’m not to picky because the dish was very good for 12.50€. The prices for appetizers/starters were on the higher end. Like 8€ for spring rolls when you can get it down the street for 3.50€. Also, for a large bottle of water it costed 5.50€.
