All in all a nice place to eat something in, hence the 4/5.

Went in for a crepe, ate an onion soup. Which was great! Though the vessel it came in was definitely not the best. A quarter of my soup was on the plate the bowl came on before it even landed on the table, while the second quarter landed there while I was eating due to overflow. The additional bread I was given was a nice touch, though I wish it was a soft, freshly out of the oven kind instead of a ... cold baguette toast. And though delicious, it was a little overbaked ... charcoal is not my favourite flavour even if only slightly noticeable.

It was nice enough that I would have left a tip (service was very friendly too!), if it weren't for two things: I know France is pricey, but 15€ for a bowl of soup is a little much. I am used to different countries serving coffee in different ways. Water can be a free addition to almost every kind depending on where you are. So when the waiter asked if I wanted water for my americano I assumed that was exactly that, instead I was presented with a 4,5€ addition on my receipt. (I know my fault - I should have made a scene then and there, but I am not a confrontational person).

Still, if you are craving a hot, french and tasty onion soup (and you are not on a budget) I...

Extremely HORRIBLE service!!! Extremely RUDE! Will never walk in here again. We (4) ordered food and wanted to share to try the different tastes. Got a variety of food …steak, chicken sandwich, croque Monsieur, onion soup, etc. we tried use the steak knife to cut the chicken sandwich in half. The waitress rushed to our table grabbed the knife out of my 70 year old dads hands and gave him the butter knife (trying to teach and old man that the steak knife isn’t for your meal without understanding we wanted to share). They understood English perfectly and started speaking to the table next to us in English but not for a second bothered to do the same for us. This is just a couple of the many rude moments. We were trying so hard to use their language and say hello and goodbye in French. I loved France the culture etc. before I went. Horrible taste in my mouth from this restaurant. They don’t understand customer service at all and they hate on Americans for no reasons. I’m not even full American and I got horrible service. Will not be visiting France or this restaurant ever again. Don’t both going in. They don’t deserve a penny. Never experience such rude service from any country and I’ve traveled a...

This was my first experience of crepes in Paris, France. Let me say it blew me away. But I have a hard time deciding what was better the conversation with the server or the crepes. We had 4 different crepes all where amazing my favorite is Nutella and banana, we also had the berries, butter, and a Carmel crepe. After talking to the server he had told me the chef and owner recipe for crepes came from when he worked at a palace. He must have had time to perfect it. I will be making my crepes from now on with buckwheat after trying these. They must also give time for the batter to rest, because they are lightly and soft not a bit chewy at all. They whip the batter also to add lots of air. I wanted to talk to the chef but he left and I couldn't. But the conversation with the server was amazing. I have been in the hospitality industry as a chef, general manager and everything in between for over 30 years, and his outlook on working for a company and wanting them to be successful was amazing. He had a positive attitude about everything, the perfect French/American accent. Always smiling! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Pretty sure this is my first stop when I go...
