We came here 7 minutes after they stopped serving lunch (we genuinely didn't know). They told me the kitchen was closed and I asked if I could grab anything, anything they might have left and they said no because we're full (there were 3 tables empty, after the kitchen had closed).
I figured they were just done with their day and didn't feel like working for the day anymore so, why not. Although they close at 7PM on Saturday according to Google timetables.
I then asked if I could grab a quick desert to go (the deserts were ready to go, and in the display). A desert would have required not cooking whatsoever.
And they refused that too because they claim they didn't have to go containers. Weird for a restaurant but again we're dealing with snarky vegans so, why not.
I asked the he/him person if they could just put the desert on my hands then (man I was just starving) and I'd take it to go and they straight up refused again. Talking back very short, snarky and passive aggressive. Never again...
Read moreThis was quite an odd experience. We were glad to have found a vegan café in Paris. It seemed cosy, a bit weird perhaps. Astrology, esoteric symbols, Taro, owls. Very friendly staff.
We ordered amazingly sounding food which was served with a delightful appearance with glitter and gold. But: The chocolate cake was dry, the cupcake boring and the drink was hardly drinkable as it was so full of floating glitter that my throat started hurting.
After we left we both had stomach aches and did indeed feel at bit "magically" touched. Just not in a positive way.
We did tell the staff of our experience but have been shrugged off with a "we only use proper ingredients".
We can't recommend this...
Read moreIt was a cute café and the staff is friendly. It's not centrally located but probably why it's affordable. They even have gluten-free options!
When we went the first time on a Saturday afternoon, it was fully booked so we tried again with a reservation. It's highly recommended that you book in advance. The only reason it's 4 stars is because I went there for the potions drinks (which is probably why a lot of their clients come to their cafe anyway) but they had run out of it. I still had a delicious cake and colour changing lemonade but I was disappointed about not having the potions drinks, especially since I had been looking at those on their Instagram...
