I can’t believe what just happen… me and my girlfriend found this lovely place right next to our airbnb. We went there for dinner and a beer and the service was just spectacular. All the ladies were so nice and caring… that we decided to come back next day.
BIG MISTAKE.
There was this half-latin/half-french man who was simply THE WORST in all Paris. He listened to us talking in Spanish as we approached the entrance and immediately started to harass us. We didn’t make a big deal because we really liked the place, so we entered. As soon as we were seated this piece of trash was absolutely rude, burlesque and STILL HARASSING US. I asked for the menu in Spanish (because he was talking to us in Spanish) to which he answered laughing in French “this is France and here we speak French”. Not knowing I speak French as well and I could understand what he was saying🤦🏻♀️
He continued this rude treatment so bad, he didn’t even let us order a freaking beer. All of this, while laughing as if he was telling us a great joke.
We finally decided to leave. Stating we left because of HIM. And we said this to him (to which he laughed again)
Please managers, do something about this because this is such a great place and we were literally harassed out by this kid who wasn’t even wearing a uniform.
No one in all France had been this level of rude, clown, harassingly annoying to us, two girls traveling for fun. Not even backpacking. He ruined our night so bad we went straight to our airbnb without even a beer for the night out.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH THIS...

Not only is their restaurant inside a fun atmosphere, their outdoor seating is abundant and fun as well. My group had various sardine starters, herring, and pate. For my main, I got the classic steak frites. It was delicious and was cooked medium and was a skirt steak cut which also meant there would be a chew to it (just a little) because of the cut. But some how it also was still tender and easy to chew. And most importantly, it was very flavorful.
This was our last meal in Paris for our week-long trip and this was the best way to do it as it was just a classic French Brasserie. It's also on a quieter street in an otherwise very busy part of Paris (close to Gare du Nord and Montmartre).
Our server, Theo (or Teo?), was also pretty amazing. Having been in Paris as both a tourist and resident, I always tell my American friends and family who visit with me that the French service is definitely not going to be what you're used to in the US. However, I don't know what it was, but this most recent visit just changed my opinion on that completely. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, we encountered this time around was just super welcoming and helpful. Our experience at this restaurant just capped it off perfectly for us as our server was just perfect. He was fun, happy, helpful, attentive, and just overall made our experience pretty great! From what we could tell, every single server we encountered was...
Read moreOur waiter seemed very vague and not at ease with any enquiries about the menu. Presentation of the food is slap dash. The sliced sausage was just a scattered heap of mis-sliced,odd sliced, uneven sliced sausage as though the person doing to slicing just couldnt be bothered to line up the sausage with the blade of the slicer. We asked the vague waiter if the egg in the egg mayo was fully cooked through i.e. no wet yolk, he said it was. Well, it wasnt. And the mayo dollop had slipped off one egg half. No one cared enough to correct it-it was served like that. Again, a very sloppy service. The most expensive item, the entrecote , was inedible. We ordered it "a point" but the cut of meat was poor-full of nerves, fat and impossible to chew . We left 3/4's of it. The waiter didnt seem to care. We pointed it out to him, and he literally scratched his head and said everyone likes this dish. Then started to argue. The other main was sausage and mash, the poor sausage was dried out and the meat inside crumbly . Again no one seems to care how the food is sent out. The m d'h finally comped the 2 small glasses of wine we had. Frankly he should have comped the main courses completely-the wine was ok, why comp the wine? We paid and left. Maybe this is the "modern" way of cooking and serving food now in Paris? Well if it is,...
