I’ve been to this café at least 30 times since last summer.I always have good experience.Super friendly staff and the quality of coffee is good.
One day I was there a waitress came to ask if I want another coffee.I said I might order later but not now. Then another waitress said:”there is a rule that you can only use laptop for one hour. You already used two hours. If there is other customers come I have to ask you to leave.”I was so shocked cuz I really don’t know this rule.I usually use more than an hour and many people do.Sometimes I order two coffee as I stay longer than others.
I did respect the rule so I closed my laptop after 3 mins and using my phone thinking about should I order another coffee or food. She came to me ask me to leave after 10 mins.I was like but I wasn’t using the laptop now.She insisted me to leave right away. That was quite embarrassed situation.People around me were confused too.
And then the barista tried to let me stay cuz there were still 2 tables are available. But I was just pissed by her.I mean I can’t even stay without using laptop?
This café was my fav and I still like other staffs very much but I don’t go there anymore. You can still go but don’t use your laptop more than one hour otherwise you’ll...
Read morePerfect for Sunday afternoons...and every afternoon really :) This is exactly what I always wanted in a café and more! A calm yet lively ambience, perfect for catching up with friends or studying on your own, you could easily spend hours here forgetting to watch the time. The coffee and drinks are absolutely superb (with a whole menu of their own!), and the desserts are a treasure to discover. I've literally tried every single one of their sweets (carrot cake, brownie, banana bread, scones) and I can't decide which one I like more than the other, because they each bring something unique for your taste buds to venture! Their savoury menu is simple yet absolutely effective, as you finish your meal feeling healthy, full, and completely satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone living in or visiting Paris, as it's a must try for anyone looking to discover something new. They may have only opened up a week ago, but I think I've already become their...
Read moreRelative to LA's coffee game, other countries seem don't seem to have the abundance of specialty coffee stores. Thankfully, Cafe Obrkof came to the rescue in Paris. They served up some great tasting V60 coffee and solid lattes that one would expect back in the states. It basically felt like I never left home, coffee wise anyways! They do serve other savory food items and I found them to be a deal relative to the states. For 6.95, we got a sandwich to share and it was quite sizable and really tasty. Something like that would cost 12+ in LA.
Additionally, the space is pretty large and would be great to study or meet up with friends. It is decorated nicely and is bright and airy. Finally, the people are very friendly to tourists and all speak English.
I hope for their continued success and to come back during my next...
