Had an amzaing experience at this restuarant. The food was amazing, the owner was lovely and very knowledgable. They were out of shawerma as we had gone quite late (around 10ish I believe) which is a testament to how good it is. We ordered a kafte platter with chicken and lamb kafte. We also got some savoury pastires (spicy beef, cheese and chicken). Everything tasted amazing. I asked the owner to give me a sweet amd savoury pastry of his choice. He gave me a spinch fatayer and I dont remember the name of the sweet (will attach a photo). Hands down the best spinach pastry I have had. The sweet pastry wasnt sickly sweet (as some middle eastern pastries can be, even their baklava was just the right amount of sweet). The portions were good and the price was very reasonable for France. We ordered a kafte platter, 3 savoury pastries, 1 sweet pastry and a mint tea and the total came to 23 euros. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for halal food in France at a reasonable price. To the owner, thankyou for the lovely experience. It was definitely a highlight of my...
Read moreNo lebanese hospitality, not even a small touch of it. I used to go there, and bring my friends, from time to time, to eat shawarma viande/beef as they used to do it well (I am Lebanese myself so I know the real taste). Chicken shawarma has always been dry there.
After summer, the place got worse. Smaller sandwiches and total lack of hospitality... and today, they didn't even want to let me sit inside, on the second floor, claiming that I'd have to order more than a sandwich (keeping in mind that I arrived there after 3 pm and the place was completely empty). That's ridiculous!! Total lack of respect and hospitality!! I ate sandwiches on the second floor several times with my friends, and never heard such kind of comments (I was usually served by a kind waiter, young guy; this time, the woman/waitress was very rude and impolite although she knows that I'm a frequent customer). As I said, it's not good anymore as it used to be. Such a disappointment! A...
Read moreI stumbled upon this place because my name is also Elie! I found it funny and decided to try it out since I saw they had falafels. For starters the falafels were fabulous and filling good portions and the grape leaves so juicy not a lot of seasoning very hearty. I congratulated one of the gentleman on the food it felt very home made and fresh. I asked him for his name because I enjoyed the atmosphere, and he said Danny which I laughed and said my brother name is Danny too!!! Great place and love the night feel there. Food is fresh...
