It always amazes me how in general the quality of the cafés in Montmartre improves if you take the time to make your way over the Butte to the neighborhood behind and below Sacré Coeur.
Chez Ginette is a place I stop pretty frequently if I'm in the area and need a pick-me-up or a bit of a nibble.
The staff is very efficient, and even on a busy day can usually fit you in somewhere.

Read moreThe food: quality was fresh and flavours were good. I would suggest to try the burger. Bread was delicious. Meat flavour was good. It didn’t feel greasy which is nice when it comes to burgers. Portions are big so if you eat small portions I would suggest sharing (for the burgers; not for other plates).
Service: a bit slow, but overall good.
The place: indoors and outdoors tables. The place is nice and very Parisian. Breakfast menu is served until noon. At noon starts lunch menu. No excuses.
