The food is exceptional, the service is a travesty. We had 9:30pm reservation within minutes of being seated we were asked to order our entire meal before being offered any drinks. We obliged and ordered cocktails as well and asked to order wine. After ordering wine the cocktails and the first course arrived. At the end of the first course, our wine was served ... the main came as soon as the entree was cleared. Then we waited an hour for dessert. A further 30min later the staff were drinking and texting on their phones and we had to walk up to ask for the bill. Very good food but the evening was ruined by very poor service. The guinea fowl is also not a good dish, everything else is fantastic.

UPDATE: we arrived 8 minutes late, which, according to the owner, was the cause of terrible service from beginning to end. After waiting for a very long time for any follow up service we walked to the desk, waited while the server continued to look at her text messages and when we stated it was rude and the service was nothing like we expected we were dismissed with curt French. We most certainly stated we would express our dissatisdsction in a review and tell American Express Centurion who had booked our reservationnot to recommendit in future, we were laughed at and again addressed in arrogant French statements. It is a great shame that such delicious food is easily ruined by awful service. This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with high-quality food, excellent service, and a well-curated wine selection. The portion sizes are satisfying, providing a good balance between quality and quantity. The price-to-value ratio is fair, making it a solid choice for those looking for a high-standard meal at a reasonable price.

The service is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The ambiance is pleasant, offering a cozy and stylish setting that enhances the overall experience.

The quality of the food and drinks is excellent, with fresh ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. A particular highlight is the impressive wine selection, which complements the menu perfectly. Cleanliness is also a strong point, as the restaurant maintains a very high standard.

Waiting times can be a bit inconsistent, particularly during peak hours, but they remain within an acceptable range. The restaurant is somewhat accessible, although there are areas where improvements could make it more accommodating for guests with mobility challenges.

Parking can be a challenge since there is no dedicated parking lot, so finding a spot nearby might require some patience.

Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for those who appreciate high-quality food, great service, and a carefully selected wine list. While there are minor inconveniences, such as parking and accessibility, the overall experience makes it a place...

Avoid this restaurant, at all costs. The portions are snack size; vegetables: a leaf, or an insubstantial mousse; and the chef dictates how you should eat your food, insisting on undercooking everything (pink), even fowl. The mains arrived luke-warm after all the insistence on the way the four tiny one inch fingers of steak would be cooked; when I moved my plate around so that I could see the miniscule portion of steak, the waitron moved it back around (steak to the left-hand side), informing me that this too was on the insistence of the chef. Really? Why should the people paying for the service goose-step to the chef? What little we were served from the set lunch menu was tasty, but I was hungry less than an hour later. The photographs from other diners show portions considerably larger than the ones served today. I wonder was there a problem in the kitchen? Of course, the prices don't match the food on offer ... The service was pleasant but distracted in a dining area not fully reserved; reminders needed to keep the attention of the serving-staff. Try it once, if you must, but better food and better value elswhere in this city of chefs and diner-outers .... the owner responded that the portions are all the same size. If that's the case, then the photos on the website...

Colvert delivered an unforgettable experience for our family reunion dinner, accommodating our table of 13 with absolute grace and ease. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like honored guests—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly professional. It’s rare to find a restaurant in the heart of Paris that can manage a large group so seamlessly, yet Colvert did it without missing a beat. The service was beyond exceptional. Our host was a true five-star professional—warm, intuitive, and always one step ahead. Drinks were refilled before we had to ask, dietary preferences were remembered without reminders, and every course was served with impeccable timing. What could have easily been a chaotic dinner turned into a joyful, relaxed evening where every family member felt seen and cared for. And of course, the food lived up to the high standard set by the service. Every dish was beautifully presented and deeply satisfying, capturing that refined yet soulful Parisian flavor. Colvert created more than a meal for us—it gave our family a moment we’ll remember for years. If you’re planning a special gathering in Paris, this place is an absolute gem.

Good things: - The main course (sea bream) was incredible - one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I definitely recommend (see picture attached) - Nice outside ambience, tables very clean - Presentation of food very good Things to improve: - Service was very slow, both to take our order and serve our food. We later learned that this was because there were some bigger parties in side. While I appreciate this, it would have been good to let us know in advance that the wait will be longer than usual, so that we may have ordered more starters etc to keep us waiting. The waiting staff later apologised. - the olive starter was far too salty for our taste, so only order if you like salty food - I was not convinced of the value for money. I know that you are in Paris but I have had good meals for more reasonable prices elsewhere. In particular, we were served a tiny glass of cider, as opposed to an actual bottle volume like served in other places. The restaurant would even be better off offering a bigger class and charging a little bit more - just looking at such a small glass leaves you feeling shortchanged
