Come Prima — Restaurant in Paris

Large portions. Place was crowded for lunch o a Monday.

Our experience was not wow unfortunately. Hard to believe since before choosing this restaurant i read many positive reviews. This is our experience:

I called them on Monday at 11ish am to book a table for 2 at half past noon. I got a verbal confirmation on the phone. When we arrived there was no table for us. Luckily we could still sit. One of us asked the waiter to have the same dish that the one thay someone next to us ordered. We got something completely different. Instead of pasta as side dish, one of us ordered some normal salad. She was given a big salad with burrata and roasted vegetables. Surely a yummy one but we would have been charged for it. The waiter did not inform us while we placed the order...

All in all, even if the food was good, we had the feeling that they did not care about us and that if one does not pay attention, extras are charged without hesitation. By being Italian, i would have loved to find a good place i could call home. I will go and discover other restaurants before returning again...

I only review places I am thoroughly impressed with and this is one of them. We came here because we first one to a chic restaurant and the food and service were very lacking so we decided something less fancy. Upon arriving we had to wait to sit because the place was packed. I wanted to leave but the wife asked me to stay which ended up being the right choice. The waiters were super attentive and sat us as soon as they could. The tables are all put together and it is more of a big family dinner rather than a private affair. Everyone is super happy and social. Our pasta came out in a couple of minutes even with the amount of people there. The food was amazing, very fresh and homeade. A couple next to us toasted us with limoncello and our waiter gave us the next one on the house. Would definitely...

Don't think twice and come to this family owned italian restaurant, amazing food and service and just pure bliss from beginning to end. We visited today and noticed many regular happy customers coming in, and the people who were queing outside received glasses of warm red wine. When they sat down they started singing and everyone were happy and cheerful. Just an amazing experience received by a kind, warm and talented family. Many thanks, we are looking forward to our next visit.
