I heard about this buffet restaurant been a while, so finally went to try during lunch time. I was dining alone so didn’t make any reservation just walked in and ate at the terrace table.lunch menu was more cheaper than dinner menu (lunch 22.90 euros, dinner 37.9 euros )maybe there’s some difference on the menu, I’m not sure, but eating at lunch seems to be more reasonable choice. The food on generally taste ok, nothing special or impressive except for the special presentation, you can have 5 rounds order and each time you can order 5 dishes per person, between each round there’s 15 minutes waiting time, just need to choose it from the iPad and sent out that’s all, pretty easy to use. The food choices are various, from starter to the main course, drinks and deserts are not included in buffet. Inside restaurant decor looks nice. But there’s one thing I just don’t understand why they can’t offer a sit for single customers at the bar area since all seats there are empty, and I asked the guy at the door who was responsible for the arriving guests, but he refused, then he told another single guest who came after me that if she didn’t book a table then she can eat at the terrace that’s how I knew i could have this choice ,he didn’t even mention it to me, also while I was eating at the terrace there’s 2 other empty tables, this guy didn’t mention it to other guests who came without reservations either, that was kind odd. Anyway, for a japonais buffet with lunch menu price I think it’s worth to try, but I don’t think I’ll go back there again, because there’s missing of some taste and flavor, I would rather go eat from other better quality japonais...
Read moreWhen I went to this restaurant for the first time, the price was 35euros per person for dinner and we could stay how much ever we want and the food was very nice. After returning for the second time, the price has increased a lot, the quality of food decreased, the waiters were so much unfriendly. And before you enter they tell you that you could only stay for 2 hours maximum to eat. For an all you can eat restaurant, it is not acceptable, they are asking you to stuff yourself with food in 2 hours. Indeed a lot of people will eat a very little quantity and leave in less than 2 hours. And then the table will be empty for new clients which means more revenue. The restaurant doesn't have an advantage when you stay there for long just eating. We feel like clients are seen just some revenue cows, they don't care at all about your experience. The waiters are too busy and run in every corner, sometimes they forget your orders, the tables are too small and too close to each other that you feel like you are eating in the same table as others next to you. I used to recommend this restaurant to everyone else and made many people and their friends eat there but not anymore, I will not hesitate to tell everyone my opinion. Please review your business strategy because this will not make you gain anything in the long term because the trends don't last for long and the industry is very...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had the fantastic opportunity to dine at the Shinko Restaurant in Paris, and I wanted to share our extraordinary experience with you. The restaurant offers a unique and exciting buffet concept, which takes you on a culinary adventure that lasts for two hours.
What I found particularly impressive about Shinko is its strict timing policy. We booked our table for 7 pm and arrived on time, as any delay would have cut into our two-hour dining window. I appreciate this policy as it ensures a smooth dining experience for all patrons.
The ordering process at Shinko is also worth mentioning. We could make five separate orders, each allowing us to select up to 10 dishes. This gave us the chance to sample a wide variety of their offerings. However, some special dishes have ordering restrictions so everyone can try them. For instance, certain delicacies had a maximum of one per person or two per person.
Despite its high-quality food and unique dining experience, Shinko remains surprisingly affordable. However, because of its popularity, getting a reservation can be challenging. I advise booking well in advance, ideally one to two months ahead, to ensure you get this exceptional dining experience.
Overall, our dining experience at Shinko was exceptional. A memorable evening we'll...
