1st: upon arriving I put my purse on table ( in order to locate my eyeglasses) the manager/ waiter rudely told to ( move it off table as that space was for bread) I obeyed. I was not given a menu to even peruse, the manager/ waiter, merely said: Stew, it will take 30 minutes.( I said : fine, and the broth also. He shook his head and said No. ( alright, there was a total 4 females there at the time.no music, but still the atmosphere was Funerial. The stew which arrived consisted of a very small, dry, piece of meat, a tasteless marrowbone, and possibly 8 vegetables. All BLAND beyond belief. ( I tried a few bites then had to put in a napkin) the liquid was just watery. I drank 2 glasses of red wine from the bottle he put on my table and was planning on bringing it home for later Also, he removed it from the table ( as I saw him do with other unfortunate diners( probably to refill bottle and resell) Appalling. I visit Paris often and never experienced anything as bad as this. AVOID...

A quaint restaurant with homemade meals that bring you back to your roots. We had a beef stew with cabbage, carrot, potatoes and each a beef bone with marrow we were to eat with toasted bread. Desserts were apple tort and a chocolate mousse that were amazing. FYI. Menu on chalk board in French so be prepared. Bottle of wine we shared was on the expensive side but light and tasty. a once in a...

I was not impressed by this restaurant. I had the pot au feu and the tarte tartin ( which is one of my favorites ). For what was presented (pictures included), I did not believe it was worth the price. Since I am American, I also asked my French friend from Bretagne what he thought of the food. He also was not impressed and thought the food was way overpriced. I will not be returning.
