Delicious restaurant find in Paris! I was there by myself with no reservation, but they were able to seat me outside which worked fine. The service was very good, and the food was phenomenal.

I tried a refreshing cocktail to start and had a nice glass of red with dinner that the waitress recommended.

First they start you with a complementary toast/waffle piece with a salmon mousse. Delicious! I ordered what I believe was almost a pollock ceviche appetizer and it was fantastic! All the bread is delicious here as well. For main course I opted for the poultry (Guinea fowl) which was equally tasty. It was neat the way they plated the white and dark meats separately. For dessert I tried the “Chocolat” which was kind of in between a dark chocolate cake and mousse; and it had an accent small scoop of orange ice cream. Perfect end to the meal. Last but not least they brought mini cream puffs with the check.

Definitely recommend this place! It’s a bit pricey but worth it.

Update - visited again in July and was equally as fantastic as my first visit. Would say the service was even better this time if that is possible. They were super attentive and in tune with what I needed (and I could tell the same was occurring for other tables as well). The veal entree and the tuna app were fantastic and the strawberry focused dessert was...

Elmer, Paris ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The complimentary broth we were served at the start was small but bursting with flavor and set the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed, with just the right amount of sophistication.

The dishes were beautiful to look at yet never overcomplicated. Each plate was refined and light, allowing the main ingredients to shine. The lobster starter, with its delicate layers and hint of crunch, was the perfect beginning. The lamb was tender and succulent, paired with mushrooms that were full of flavor and juices. Dessert was outstanding: a plum tartlet with verbena sorbet that was refreshing, tangy, and a perfect finish.

Service was excellent throughout. The staff were attentive, professional, and warm, making us feel truly at home. Ending with an espresso and complimentary treats was a thoughtful touch that left us smiling.

This is one of the best dining experiences we have had in Paris. We will...

This was one of my all time favorite meal experiences. The plates are hand crafted by an artisan in Peru, the knives are Ceccaldi and the atmosphere is warm and non pretentious. The sommelier was so patient and knowledgeable and he knew exactly when to pour. Our waitress was so friendly and took lots of time with us.We shared tiger shrimp in a delicious sauce with bone broth. My sweetheart had a beautiful filet with parsley puree, garlic and mushrooms. It was perfect. I had monkfish barbecued on the bone with a yellow wine sauce and harissa. It had shallots and small tender fungi with gorgeous currants and spinach. We also shared roasted eggplant that melted on our tongues. We planned to eat dessert, but we were perfectly sated. The restaurant is named after Elmer the elephant. This is truly a culinary gem. Make a reservation. Keep your reservation and enjoy a...
