Folie Crabe St michel — Restaurant in Paris

I ordered the special bowl of shell fish that consisted of shrimp, small clams, two mussels and six dark-colored langousta. Along with the seafood, were a blob of white rice, three small boiled potatoes and a few broccoli florets. The sauce was heavy and messy, a bit much to manage with one small paper napkin. I had no problems with the average tasting contents, except it was nearly impossible to deal with the langousta, of which one had a bad taste, compelling me to set aside the remaining five. Service was basically nonexistent as I was facing the storefront and had to swing around not get a waiter’s attention. I was told to pay at the small bar. Six-7 hours later I felt queasy followed by cramps leading me to feel that I had suffered food poisoning. I imagine that the langousta were spoiled. Folie Crabe delivers a vibrant seafood cajun experience straight out of Louisiana—served right on your table. No cutlery needed (you get gloves and a bib) . The seafood was incredibly fresh. Le pire restaurant où j’ai pu dîner jusqu’ici. Le service y est incroyable expéditif et désagréable.

Alors que j’avais réservé une semaine à l’avance pour un dîner d’anniversaire; au bout de 40 minutes on a commencé à nous faire comprendre qu’il fallait partir.

On m’avait donné l’accord d’apporter un gâteau d’anniversaire, chose que j’ai faite. Le personnel ne voulait pas me l’apporter car ils souhaitaient que nous partions. Après négociation, le carton contenant le gâteau est posé sur la table devant la personne sans bougies, ni assiettes ou fourchettes. Je n’ai jamais vu un tel manque de respect.

Agacés nous nous sommes résignés à partir. Au moment de l’addition nous avons souhaité payer chacun notre propre consommation et avons essuyé un refus, la serveuse nous a dit « non c’est trop compliqué, soit quelqu’un prend tout soit je divise en 8 ». Il a fallu que je dise que je vais mettre un mauvais commentaire pour qu’elle accepte de nous faire payer chacun notre consommation. Chose promise, chose due.

Le pire rapport à la clientèle jamais vu. Si vous ne manger pas en 20 minutes chrono, je vous déconseille clairement ce restaurant.

Au regard de l’attitude du personnel, je ne serai pas surprise qu’ils démentent tout en commentaire, sauf que malheureusement les choses se sont passées...
