Ginsburger — Restaurant in Paris

Wasn’t expecting to find this magical spot, until the place we tried to go to was closed. Appreciate that the hours listed matched their actual opening.

The owner was warm, welcoming, and perfectly Parisian. He made us feel at home on our first day in the city after having just landed and tired.

It’s conveniently in the shopping area of Le Marais and charmingly placed right on the corner. Inside it’s cozy and warm and eclectic, just what we needed on a chilly day. We appreciated the door was kept closed, not allowing any smoke inside.

We got the falafel and hummus plate and it was so authentic. So perfectly Israeli with shuug, and tahini, and red cabbage, and green olive oil. So so well spiced and full of flavor!

Can’t recommend this spot enough, wish we could have gone...

The worst experience in my life. After giving the order, the manager asked us to leave the place (just because our order seemed not so big for him (falafels, humus, fries 2 colas and etc.)). So, the discrimination of clients by their orders. I don't wish to anyone the same experiece. One of my worst experiences in France.

As a response to the comment below: It's we who know what has been ordered, but you are just been informed about our order. The problem either the waitres who informed you wrongly, or your ears heard it wrongly. Anyway, even if a person who orders 2 colas, it's an inappropriate attitude by you to say clients to leave the place. Just to earn 10 euros for 1 burger, you are getting 1 point from clients and it drops down the client satisfaction.

We stumbled on this place on the way to place des Vosges. They were still opening up for the day & we are glad we chose to go in. Had their “Hot as Hell” vegetarian burger. Tasted the steak, Ginsburger, avocado toast. The fries have to be purchased separately. Very tasty burger with the right amounts of veggies, dressing & lived upto its expectations. Every dish was unique flavors. Enjoyed it. They have vegan options as well. The staff & owner is very nice, courteous. Apparently the owner while living in the UK had a vegan burger which made appreciate the vegan options & motivated him to open an establishment here in Paris....
