Hello, we visited your shop today in Paris and we had a terrible experience. I was choosing what to eat and my friend chose a table so we can sit and automatically put her phone on the charger. Suddenly the employee there, one of these ladies if i am not mistaken, talked to her in a very mean, disrespectful way asking her if she wants to order something or just to charge her phone. I told her she is my friend and weâre gonna eat here. She didnât seem happy. She put my food on the table and asked my friend what does she want. My friend answered that she doesnât need anything so the employeeâs answer was: ârien du tout? Sauf le chargeurâ? Here i got angry and i told the employee we will stop charging the phone and i unplugged it immediately. I ate quickly because i really wanted to leave this shop. I donât know what was the problem? Whatâs wrong of using your electricity? Did you ever here about empathy? Kindness? Sweetness? Which cost nothing? If not, since you have a french patisserie in one of the biggest cities in the world, have you heard about customer service? I donât think so. This lady needs lots of training! However, letâs all agree that sweetness and kindness cannot be taught! I am just wondering if this behavior was because my friend has dark hair and she was speaking Arabic with me? I donât know! In all cases, it costs nothing to be sweet. Truly nothing....
Read moreI visited this place today with my friends for some croissants and macarons. However the quality was very poor, the croissant was awful and the macarons were definitely old. Unfortunately I have noticed their texture and suspicious colors only when I had already opened the package, because I would have asked for a refund - the price was also exaggerated, âŹ6 for 4 small macarons that sit in the window all day (which apparently seems to be the reason for their color)! I went back to ask when were they prepared and if it is normal to look like that (pictures attached) and the staff told me that it is really hard to explain it in English so I said to explain it in French. They were really surprised that I understood French and they told me it is because they sit in the window display, but they did not offer information about when they were prepared and did not offer a refund. Also, the package did not have any information about their expiry date, only about their ingredients. Do not recommend this place: neither for the products, nor for the...
Read moreQuite an unpleasant experience here - there were many counter ppl taking orders but one slightly tall blonde lady in glasses was quite racist and kept acting she cannot understand even though i was pointing at the item. Then she brought up the notorious âfrenchâ attitude and gave a shout out on âoh you have to say hi, you didnât say hiâ. Then got the order wrong as wellđ
It was very crowded in the store and loud as well so she must have missed what I said but great, just because someone didnât say hi doesnât mean you can bring that kind of attitude when you are taking orders :) Left the store without buying after this.
Location is convenient and probably a lot of tourists there for this but not worth your time queuing...
