This was hands down the best of the 3 hotels we stayed at in Paris and when we return, we plan to stay here! We stayed at this one with friends, Hotel Touring with family, and one night near the train station (as we left town via Gare Montparnass and came back the night before our flight out of CDG). Service: The front desk was so accommodating! We arrived early so we needed to leave our luggage. There isn't a room to keep your suitcases...so they held them in the lobby all day. They all spoke several languages so it was easy to communicate. Our friend hurt her ankle the night before we arrived and they got her a pack of ice every night. They also called us a taxi the day we departed. Rooms: Both our rooms were SO QUIET!! They didn't share a wall with any guests and our friends were the floor below us. The tricky part is we were the only rooms between levels, so we took the lift up and then hauled our bags down a partial flight of stairs and the door was in the middle of the staircase. Also tricky, the doors are crazy heavy and enter into a hall of sorts where you can store a suitcase and then another heavy door into your room. The hot water was quick, the rooms super clean, the neighborhood great, the AC worked, and the beds/pillows were super comfortable! I am a side sleeper and like a medium mattress and tall pillows. The mattress was a little firm but not hard (and you didn't feel...
Read moreStayed here on a work trip. Had a great experience.||The staff is welcoming & friendly. I stayed in the small single room. And while the rooms are typically small Parisian hotel rooms, they are comfortable, with a small table, closest & TV. Bathroom is compact but smartly designed. Unlike some other reviews, I had no issue with water leaking from the shower stall. ||The highlight is helpful front desk folks, including Mr. Olivier and Thomas who was very hospitable & went out of the way to be friendly & helpful. The hotel seems to be popular with American tourists & no language issues. Everyone at front desk speaks English.||There is good wifi & decent breakfast, with excellent croissant. I prefer the convenience of a hotel breakfast, but one can also opt out of breakfast & visit the many cafes right outside.||The hotel is located on a quiet street and is 5 to 15 minutes walk from places like St Germain, Hausmann Blvd, Museum D'orsay, the Louvre, Champs Elysee, the Seine, Pont d'Arts and many other places. |St Germain is a very pretty part of Paris, with lots of historic and modern cafes. This is probably the best value hotel in its...
Read moreThis hotel was perfect for a home base while in Paris. The location is exceptional. A few blocks from the Louvre, around the corner from a market, restaurants all over the place, the Metro close, bus stop around the corner, Musee de Orsay 5 minute walk . We walked to Notre Dame, and on the way explored many Parisian side streets. The best restaurants are off the beaten path! Staff was amazing. Every morning on our way out Sylvie was there with the smile. She made sure breakfast with special. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. Staff at the desk was so helpful. It was nice someone was there 24 hours a day. But we cannot begin to describe how much Thomas helped us! He went above and beyond to help us make plans, get to where we were going, and understand the way of things. There were a couple of times that I do not believe it would have gone as smooth as it did without his input. He was like our coach saying "you can do it!" It was hilarious. He even got us tickets to the catacombs when they were "sold out". Anyway, I would suggest this hotel to anyone. It was perfect for our two...
