A beautiful, luminous café near the Musée d’Orsay - so Parisian. My friend and I wanted to have brunch before heading to the museum. This looked decent. Parisian. Alas, an hour later, we swore we would never return here. It was 11AM and the (overpriced) brunch menu was allegedly no longer available. They also had run out of croissants and baguette. By 11? The place was practically empty. So my friend and I looked at the menu for other options. She ordered an omelette. It was floating in a pool of oily water. The accompanying salad looked less than fresh. I ordered tartines on toast, since they didn’t have baguette according to the rude waiter. I received 4 halves of cold over-grilled toast- they looked like leftovers from some other breakfast - and enough jam and butter for just 2 half toasts. We also ordered fresh orange juice. We were each served half a glass of non-freshly squeezed OJ (nearly 9 euros per glass). My friend asked another (even ruder) waiter if they had any bread to eat with her omelette. Guess what he brought her? Baguette. I thought they had run out? This second waiter looked particularly unhappy to have to work on a Sunday and contained his annoyance when the client at another table had to get up, walk over to him to ask that he come take their order as they’d been waiting for 30 minutes. The best part - while paying (via their QR code which includes a service charge), they propose 3 or 4 different amounts to add as a tip. Needless to say, we didn’t leave a tip. Despite the fact that tips are included in the price, I would have left something if the service had been good. It wasn’t. It was awful and so was the food. Their rudeness deserves an entire blog post… The place looks nice, but that’s it.

Went here this afternoon, started out like any normal restaurant, got seated and got our menus. After that, it became the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. They did not serve me a simple meal, baguette, which was supposed to be available during the morning and afternoon (was here around 13:43). Then my friend got her salad, which was very bad as well, chicken seemed undercooked and moist and the lettuce had weird black spots. The best part of the food was the bread, which was included anyway. Very tasty bread! They luckily gave a refund for the terrible food that we hadnt eaten at all, but the attitude they had towards us was incredibly unfriendly and rude. Would not recommend going here if youre looking for good food in Paris. PS: response to response: Your menu very clearly says that the baguettes are served in the morning and afternoon. A quick google search tells you that the afternoon is from 12:01 till 15:59. Either change your menu, or dont put the blame on your customers. A salad can be good even if its just lettuce with cucumber, as long as its just not soggy and clearly not freshly made. The rude attitude in their response is exactly what I meant with the most terrible restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Paris. I think it’s best to take this as a learning opportunity to do better, instead of defending yourself towards a customer who probably wont return ever again. Good day everyone.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!!This was my final night in Paris and now me and my family and stuck sick in bed. absolutely disgusted by the service, food, atmosphere, and everything else which contributed to the worst dining experience of my life. Do not come to this “restaurant.” Wifi didn’t work Bottle of water reeked of wine and tasted of wine. Ordered “mince steak” and was served a dirty hamburger patty, burnt in some parts, raw in others. Son ordered mussels, just 25 minutes after, my son felt very ill, only to find no toilet paper in the women’s bathroom which he was forced to use by a waiter Steak tartar was grey Lasagna looked like microwave food, tasted even worse The waiter (wearing stupid looking glasses) smoked a large vaporizer mere feet from our table, purposefully blowing smoke at us while we dined (my son has asthma) and laughing. Waiter (also the one with stupid glasses) dropped a scalding hot pot of mussels and broth on the leg of my injured son, and attempted to play it off as a joke. Waiter (the same one) then forced us to pay on our phones for part of the check, while overcharging on the other half of the check. When we showed him he had charged us 30 dollars extra, he began to yell at us in French. The picture attached is my poor injured son crying after the pot of mussels and broth burnt his injured leg.

This is a very nice and well located cafe, right across a wonderful bookstore and minutes walk from le Musée D'Orsay, and right next to a metro stop.

I had a hamburger which was well cooked to order and delicious. The outside seating was nice and comfortable. The servers were pleasant and friendly. The reason I did not give a 5 star is because I ordered quiche aux oingon which was their special for the day but they had run out..Really?!

I was amazed how nice the servers were to a tourist couple who ordered the wrong drinks, then ordered the wrong food, then made a mistake on the price they were suppose to pay. The servers very nicely helped them and made corrections, even though the idiots kept looking and ordering the wrong things.

In response to some of the criticism of the reviewers of slow service, it should be a reminder that this is common in France. This is because, by and large, the French take their time to eat, have a conversation, and relax. Additionally, where in the US, for example, can you sit in a nice restaurant with only a coffee for hours? In the US, the servers won't let you. In France this is a mode of life and you'll never find a server, as slow as they maybe, giving you a dirty look for sitting at a table with a coffee. If you are a tourist, GET USED TO IT.. In France, it is NOT bang, bang service. Take your time to eat and enjoy your vacation. For the record I have no relationship with...
