Not the kind to really share reviews, but having been to several Italian restaurants in Paris, I had high hopes and expectations for Gruppomimo because I hadn't succeeded in finding a table before. After having dined there this week I can't complain about the atmosphere and vibe, but the food is honestly very average. We had the pasta with pistachio : honestly tasteless and lackluster, I had to over-pepper it to make it a little more inspiring. We also had the pizza The Bomb : very little sauce, ordinary crust, non-bouncy dough-edges and not so generous on the pistachio flakes. Pizza and pasta were each priced at 16€ and 18€, not exactly what you'd call cheap, but it's in the overall price range of fancy and hip Italian places in Paris.

Waiters were cool and correct, nothing to say about that but I honestly don't care about that aspect. I could be poorly treated in a place with tremendous food, I might come back. I rarely come back for mediocre food because in Paris we have a large selection of options for Italian cuisine.

Maybe the kitchen was having a bad day. Anyway, 3 stars...

The whole experience in this restaurant was weird, i mean the food was good for the prices in paris ofc but other than that there was nothing equally okay. To start they put us in a table that was almost inside the kitchen, where there were no other ppl there besides the workers, mind you that this restaurant is insanely huge with lots of tables so i dont get why we were so left out almost like hidden in the back. Then the service was slow, i kinda understand it but with everything that happened with the table situation it was just too overwhelming, the servers had a weird vibe (remind that we were surrounded by workerss because of the table being almost inside the kitchen) beside the barman, they were always looking at us and giggling and it was just so uncomfortable. We asked for the bill they didn’t even brought us the check, just the machine and amount we had to pay we were so full of it that we just paid and left.
