I was really looking forward to eating at Hando. I love Japanese cuisine and based on the reviews my expectations were sky high, especially since Paris has a dearth of excellent sushi restaurants. Unfortunately expectations were not met. The toro sashimi was very good. But aside that all the hand rolls tasted nearly identical. The extensive seasoning and sauces completely drown out the flavour of the fish which is a shame if the fish in the hand rolls is of a similar quality as that of the toro sashimi. I have made a reservation in advance, however, instead of sitting us in the counter, they pushed us to a small room that felt like a steam room - even though there were plenty space available in the counter (where they were sitting people without reservation). The owner/manager was unprepared and disrespectful with customers (I caught him ”ordering” customers to wait outside “in order to clear space for the waiters”). The food does not worth the lack of respect with customers - go find a better restaurant in the neighborhood (there...
