Very exquisite and expensive place but with very high quality food and service. Booking in advance recommended. We had a reservation for 5 at 21:30h but were only assigned a table at 22:00h.
Food: Absolutely incredible. There’s not a single negative thing to say. My escargots were delicious but I was left speechless with the frog legs that activated flavor receptors I didn’t know I had. For dessert I asked the “very thin apple pie” expecting it to be light and small, but it was huge but so good (see photo).
Service: Very high quality service. The best quality you could possibly get. Waiters are extremely well prepared and are very kind and efficient.
Atmosphere: This is my personal opinion which is subjective. I find the atmosphere very noisy to the point that it’s impossible to have a conversation, which I don’t like. Also, it’s typically French for everyone to be eating quite close to the next table, but this restaurant takes it to the next level and set tables for 2 or 3 in very tiny spaces quite close to each other. Again, this is a bit or a culture shock for me and if it’s something that doesn’t bother you, you’ll be fine.
Overall it’s a fine dining experience with exquisite food and a high quality service with typical French food that you...

Atmosphere: always buzzing with people, especially in the evenings. The interior is very french brasserie looking, and the outside is your average trottoir extension. Expect your elbows and backs to be met by the next table as the space is tight yet charming. Located very close to Le Bon Marche.
Food: almost every dish ive tried here is faultless. All are above average and well prepared, clearly made of excellent ingredients. My personal reccomendations are: the spicy tuna avocado, macaroni with morilles, lobster linguini, sole, and the best of the best- the mousse au chocolat- this mousse is not to he missed!
Service: extremely friendly and attentive staff that are usually multilingual- strange and a happy coincidence for Paris where you are often met with rude staff. Always accommodating and helpful. The prices are slightly above average but well worth it for the overall experience
Final notes: i will continue to come back everytime. Their friendliness and service can overshadow the tightness of the seating arrangement. The food always speaks for itself! DO NOT MISS THE...
Read moreLived up to the good reviews we read. Highly recommend to book ahead because this place gets very busy, it was like organised chaos with all the wait staff running around.
There were genuinely no faults from our dinner here, everything was delicious and the service was terrific - fast and attentive. They are very hospitable to English speaking customers so if your French is still improving don’t worry. This was quite welcoming, as opposed to the reputation of some other nice Parisian restaurants.
We had the seared miso salmon - cooked perfectly and the sauce was divine, steak tartare - fresh, balanced, tasteful, seasoned vegetables - delicious, crème brûlée - also delicious, and the mashed potato - perfect and creamy, I just wish I ordered another.
We didn’t order them although I wish we had - several steak au poivre were served near us and they looked and smelted absolutely amazing. Would be keen to try when I’m...
