Huguette, Bistro de la mer — Restaurant in Paris

I had a embarrassed experience here. At first, we ordered oysters and glasses of wine. The oysters comes first. But the wines were not served and we just waited. Then a staff brought it and then said to us "Sorry". It was ok because she said Sorry. We finished the dish and we ordered one more food. But it did not come out and we waited on and on. At the same time, a staff cleared our table. We kept waiting for the dish. After that, I told a staff about that situation and he just gave me a menu list. So I said to him that we already ordered one more menu and it did not come out yet. Maybe there was confusion in the order. But they did not give us any explanation and we just paied for what we ate. If I were them, I give guests explanation and apology.

They could think that I was rude and don't have paitient. But I did not mean to express disrespect. I hope they know that. I am not good at speaking in english and at that moment I was confused and embarrassed. If you felt rudeness by me, I wanna say sorry. But I think their services need to...

Huguette, Bistro de la mer is located in the Saint Germain area of Paris. As I was wandering around, looking for something to eat after going to visit the Mona Lisa, the sun was hot and the waiting time was two hours to get in.

I happen to have a bottle of champagne with me and went around the corner to another location and sat down and asked if I could open my bottle they said no so I went to this place and I have to say that I was not disappointed at all. I just see you in the photos what I ordered was quite good everything was fresh service was nice but I did as I asked him for a glass of ice and empty glass and that’s how I drink my champagne. Well enjoying this meal.

I recommend if you’re in the area to go to this place it just might need some local people which happened to me also I had a nice conversation while I was there. Check out their menu. You might find something that you like and go and try it out.

My rate should be lower than 1 star.

This is my 1st goes to Paris and I found out this is one of the highest rate near my hotel. I went to this restaurant on 30Dec and plan to reserve the next date 31 Dec for dinner. The response is 31Dec was fully booked with bad attitude. I have been waiting more then 10mins and staffs keep ignore me even I say hi and seek for my request.

Moreover, me and my bf try to walk in on 31Dec, they said fully booked even I saw there are many empty tables around 9pm. That’s ok, we plan to take away and enjoy in hotel. The waiter told us need to go seafood bar for take away. Unfortunately, the staff near seafood bar don’t know English and keep say we cannot take away and need to ask manager for assist. After that, the another waterier told us that they are not served as take away.

What is BAD experience from me and my bf. Not only once, both 30 & 31 Dec.. And really really sad and disappointed on this kind of customer services. Not recommend...
