I experienced very clear discriminatory treatment while dining here. The servers never once offered water to any Asian tables, yet they served water to every white customer. This was not just my personal experience — I observed the same happening to other Asian diners as well. This behavior is deeply disrespectful and unacceptable. I strongly recommend that no one support this place.
I want to leave a follow-up after receiving the restaurant’s “reply.” They claimed to take my comments seriously, but in reality, they never even sent me a proper apology or solution. They gave me an email address, yet when I wrote to them, they either ignored me or responded with excuses that completely avoided the real issue.
It’s very disappointing to see how the management only pretends to care on the surface, while in fact refusing to take any real responsibility. This experience confirmed to me that their so-called “respect for Asian customers” is nothing more than empty words.
If you value being treated with basic fairness and respect, this is not the place.

Read moreI am traveling with friends and we heard good things about jaja, but unfortunately we were disappointed by everything other than the wine.
First we got the apricot burrata, which was mediocre— the apricots were flavorless and tasted out of season.
We then ordered the duck, which came with corn and beans, both of which tasted and looked as though they came from a frozen prepackaged bag. The duck was tough, rubbery, overcooked, and nearly impossible to cut- as a person who loves to cook I was amazed that the quality and preparation was so poor. I have made better duck myself and have never had such bad duck before in my life.
The eggplant schnitzel was so bad that we could not eat it. It was soggy and flavorless on the inside, yet still extremely rubbery and tough to cut. I would have asked our server for salt if he ever checked on us, but I am not sure how much it would have helped.
This is not necessarily the fault of jaja, but there was a couple loudly watching videos on their phone and impending on our table space. Overall we were just wanting to leave to try to find something else to eat.
When we let the server know about the low quality food and asked for our check they did apologize, but never brought our check. We then asked another server for the check and it still did not come. We finally went to the server station to pay so that we could leave.
Save your money and save your time-...
Read moreVisited yesterday after reading the good reviews. Three star for the food but the service and atmosphere is okay (not bad, but not extraordinary either).
We got the scallop with kale tempura appetizer. Scallop is okay, but the kale tempura is wayyyyyy toooooo oily. One bite on the tempura I thought I was drinking oil.
For main dish we got the veal and the lamb.
The veal is okay, I personally like chicken breast/pork loin kind of meat texture, so I don’t mind the veal being not tender.
The lamb on the other hand is not good at all. It was not a lamb rack, but rather a leg of lamb. Generally you would stew the leg of lamb because of the tendon/fascia, but the chef here choose to grill it like a steak. Thus, it was simply impossible to cut (see photos) because the fascia is literally unbreakable. Meat is pretty bland, the flavors are mainly in the pea mash next to it.
We don’t speak French and we were not offered the “today special” menu. The waiters only offer the daily special menu to native speakers. The same happened to another Asian table sitting next to us. I don’t think they intentionally discriminate, and I am not offended, as menu can be quite difficult to explain to foreigners. But I do hope they treat foreigners equally, I mean, after all, you can simple just use Google translate to provide an English version.
If you plan to come, don’t...
