Kook Il Kwan — Restaurant in Paris

The staff were very impatient. Everyone kept asking someone else to serve us. When we suggested that the staff help us grill the meat, one of them impatiently threw the meat onto the grill and walked away. No one tended to the meat, and it ended up burning. We also ordered Korean fried chicken, but when I took a bite, I found that the inside of the chicken leg was raw. Additionally, we ordered Galette à la ciboulette et cocktail de fruits de mer, but the pancake only had scallions, flour, and egg—there was no seafood at all.

After we managed to finish the edible food, still shocked by the experience, the staff began clearing our table, taking away even the unfinished drinks. All that was left in front of us was an empty table. At that moment, the manager approached us, pointed towards the entrance, and we turned to see a crowd of people waiting. The manager looked visibly upset, so we quickly left the restaurant.

I would give this restaurant a one-star rating because it wasted our money and made us feel unwelcome, impatiently treated, and completely...

We went there for lunch on a Saturday. As soon as we entered the staff said that they had a lot if reservations and we would have to finish by 45 minutes. We decided to stay nevertheless as I had seen exceptional reviews and the prices are reasonable given that its in the center of Paris. We took the menu so as to finish fast and the food was served quickly too. But we were disappointed with them as they were only luke warm, even the Bibimbap. And as we were about to finish, the staff came to us to tell us that their reservations were cancelled and we could stay as long as we wanted which was useless for us then as we were already done. As a matter of fact, there weren’t many people in the restaurant and there were still many empty tables the entire time we were there. Overall not a good experience. Authentic Korean Food by Korean owner! If you are looking for the best Korean restaurant in Paris, this is the one. Don't waste your time to go around. I've been tried 6 different Korean restaurants within 6days in Paris, this place was the only one all of my family was happy with the taste.(Lots of Korean restaurants in Paris are running by Chinese owner, it tastes awful and way too salty. It's unpleasant experience when especially you want to eat authentic Korean food.) Great location and nice service. We'll definitely coming back to this place when we visit...
