A very poor experience.

Waiter seemed very out of it, and he had to ask us to repeat our orders multiple times. Cocktails were weak and barely filled a standard glass.

A hand written menu with food specials was presented as we sat down, but most of the appetizers we wanted were not actually available (we were only informed about this 15 or so minutes after ordering.) We opted not to have any food.

At one point the waiter knocked a wine glass off the front of the bar, which went flying and shattered. Shards of glass went all over, including under our table, and remained there for the rest of our time in the cafe.

When ready to pay, we were informed that the WiFi/credit card system wasn't working. This wasn't mentioned when we sat down, and there is a sign in the window showing they take Visa/Mastercard/Amex. The waiter and his supervisor intimidated us, and insisted we go to an ATM to get cash.

Overall a very bizarre experience. Would give them 0/5 stars if I could. Skip this one, and go to Cafe Melody across the street for great service...

Had a TERRIBLE experience! Server and owner were definitely under the influence. Drinks were poorly made and half full with barely any liquor (I watched him attempt to make the cocktails while looking at the menu for the ingredients) Tried to order food, after 15 minutes server came back to tell us the kitchen was out after offering the daily specials to us. Server threw napkins and silverware on the middle of the table. One of our guests (french speaking) has a dairy allergy and the server repeatedly tried to offer burrata as an option since nothing was available. We didn’t end up ordering food. When ordering another drink the server told me to bring it to him at the bar so he can reuse the same glass. Bathrooms were filthy and restaurant seems dusty. I would definitely recommend another spot this place is...

We had a one in my life time of the most awful restaurant experiences at this place. The items on the menu presented to us were not available but we were only told 15 or so minutes later. The owner tried to have us order duck pate… The cocktails were weak and we actually did not think that any alcohol had been added. The 2 men were obviously under the influence of alcohol or drugs….they were rude, disconnected, and just out of it. They refused to let us pay with cards and demanded cash. We were low on euros so we insisted on paying with a card. They told us to walk to the ATE with one of them to get cash. We ended up giving cash with so much discuss for this place. PS: the washrooms...

We only have drinks here and it was the most enjoyable place to sit, have a conversation, watch people on the street and have a few drinks. The guys who run this place are super nice and friendly. And the price is the cheapest of all places in Paris that I've been (less than €5 for a coke, water, etc). They also open late at night, early in the morning (non-stop services) so it became our regular bar during our stay in Paris. Highly recommended.
