whether you know Flammenküche (eastern french pizza style dish) or not, you will love this place. I live in paris, and from the places i've tried around town their's taste the best.
it's a small restaurant with a cute and lovely atmosphere
the staff is very nice for parisian standards. not always very effective, but really sweet and friendly, which in Paris is a pleasant surprise.
it can almost be romantic (upstairs), but it's also a great place to go with a group of friends, there are big tables downstairs where you can even refill your own beers without having to call the waiters. The only negative thing is that it can get really loud when you are next to such a group of friends. We were 3, they were 10. And they were very loud. So it was really difficult to hear each other.
Try the sweet apple cinnamon or pear-chocolate flammenküche with the ice cream for dessert. it's delicious, and the portion is small enough to not be overly full but big enough to be shared if desired.
also they have Apfelschorle which is a german drink i absolutely love and miss here in paris (very refreshing sparkling apple juice drink)
prices are reasonable so don't hesitate and try it,...
Read moreService was incredible! Speaking as a tourist, the regular customers seem to be more local so they didn't have an English menu. My French is rudimentary, so the server kindly translated the menu for us, the excuse being she wanted to practice her English. Very polite, very patient, and extremely friendly. The food and drink was excellent. It's great to have a taste of Alsace flammekueche in Paris, and for a reasonable price. The sweet Alsace beers like the Fischer Amber pair extremely well with their flammekueche as well, one of the best beer/food combos I've ever had. Next time I'm in Paris I'll be back here to try the wine. The aesthetic is pleasing, the atmosphere is cosy and intimate, and there is space for both couples and groups. Would fully recommend if you're unsure of where to eat...

The restaurant is very clean, and the partially open kitchen fills the air with the appetizing aroma of freshly baked pizza.
We ordered a mixed plate of cold cuts, cheese, and pâté, and it was delicious. The pâté had a subtle sweetness that I really enjoyed, and the wild boar saucisson was flavorful.
The Pizza Alsacienne (flammekueche) here was fantastic. The crust was thin and light. The size of the pizza was similar to that of a crepe. I chose the one with duck (they didn't have any duck left, so they replaced it with filet mignon) and onions on top, which had a slightly sweet taste that I absolutely loved.
The prices are reasonable, with a pizza costing around 10€.
Having tried Pizza Alsacienne at other places, this is the best one...
