I was very impressed upon arrival with service, cleanliness and room amenities. There were four people in our family and I was happy to have a pretty cool convertible couch to bunk bed option available. However, after my first night I woke up to bed bugs! My amazing trip to Paris was ruined after being bitten all over my body. That same morning I brought a bed bug down to reception and she did not seem very surprised. She said she would do her best to get us into a new room. Upon arrival after exploring for the day we were provided with a new room. We had to pack all our things and we were placed in a smaller room and a pull out couch for the kids. Sleepless nights for me from itching and constantly checking for bed bugs for the rest of our stay. New room had a lot of mold in the bathroom and we could not adjust the heat, so we were sweating every night. Our room door handle constantly fell off on the outer side every time we pulled to close! Very disappointed with this property. Wouldn’t recommend. Looks were very deceiving. Hoping I don’t bring any bedbugs home! Also- worth mentioning that we were placed right below our old room and it was definitely made available to others upon our switch. So horrible! Now to return home to wash/throw away personal items and embarrassed on Easter weekend covered in bites. I need a full refund for this horrible experience for my family.

I knew after reading many reviews that this was going to be a hit or miss but we were late to the game booking and we are pretty easy to please. Unfortunately, this is one place I won't be staying again. Pros: Location was wonderful. There are many great restaurants and cafes. A grocer around the corner. Bakery with delicious baked goods on the corner. The family room that slept 4 of us has seperate sleeping quarters and a small balcony which we enjoyed. The air conditioning worked well for the space. Cons: Old standing water in our coffee maker with growing mold. When I addressed it with the woman at the front desk, she tried to tell me that it was "just how the water is paris was". Also, a piece of the headboard fell on my husband and sons head while they were sleeping. We set it to the side, and they never said anything to us... just put it back up. We were only there 2 nights and were truly only in the room to sleep but seeing the mold make me wonder what other items in the room weren't cared for/cleaned properly.

We booked a Comfort Suite Balcony at 5th floor. Room is not so big as you may expect but it’s good for two adults and two children. Balcony is just enough to smoke but the roof view is amazing. The cleanness of rooms may be improved. It’s pretty easy to open the windows early in the morning for fresh air and turn on the heater a hour before customers arrival. Location is perfect. You can easily walk to the île de la Cité, Notre-Dame, and Louvre Museum. With the Metro accessible everywhere in Paris, you can reach the Tour Eiffel and all the other attractions you’re looking for. In the area you’ll find nice café for breakfast and many restaurants.

Reception staff was friendly and helpful, but the owners are just taking advantage of their well-located overvalued cash cow! I guess it's 3 stars are just for 3 things: location, location, location!!!

Paris is suffering from its own fame as a top world destination, which has created some hospitality scavengers who position themselves as being affordable, in comparison to the inaccessible luxury segment... Because hotel wise, we were just cumulating problems...

The walls were being painted in all floors and cardboards with duck tape were covering the floors... I am about to scrub and wash again my jacket which accidentally touched the freshly painted room door frame... So this remided me that I should take a break and review this place... Nonetheless, Victoria from front desk was really nice and immediately offered to give my jacket for cleaning.

The morning after, the elevator which didn't work properly, took one hour and a half for the technician to arrive and fix it.

Shower was leaking from the tile floor, into the rest of the bathroom, shower head button could not be properly pulled and water pressure was too low.

Last but not least, the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was compromised and housekeeping staff entered to clean my room on the first morning... The excuse offered was that "we have complaints from guests who forget the DND sign and their rooms are left uncleaned"... This should just teach those guests a lesson and not become the norm for the others.

I would have given one star, but it's too harsh for the majority of the hotel staff who deserve a...

Location is lovely 3/10 When entering the entree is dark but also nicely cozy: positive and negative at the same time. But form here you can see some sloppy cheap renovation. 2+/10

The staff is bit of annoyed like French people be but when you have a conversation they start opening up and being very lovely. Service is average fast. 2.5/10

When you use the elevator you know for sure it is an old hotel but poorly renovated as the elevator is done nothing about. As the entree can be a 4 star but the elevator is leaning towards the 2stars.When you at your door and using it you can easily see and feel that it is just painted door instead of a new door. 1+/1-

On the photos the rooms seems nice sized but they are pretty small 1 step and you are other part of the room. Like the cloth hanger where the fridge is inside therefore you can only use half as other side is way too small maybe hanging a bag or fold up pants. Also the limit desk due to occupied by coffee and tea station. I got a small room but lovely the window can be open. There are some hidden mirrors but full length what is nicely done. It is clean but feels old. 2/10

The bathroom is small you really can only fit 1 person in. There is amenities. The towel rack is just above the toilet what is really strange as one can be wet other one is what if you fall in or when you get up after your duty. The shower cabin is small and if you not the thinnest or just above average it will be...
