I would like to say that we are so lucky that we were looking for a Spanish Tapas restaurant but we were not hoping such a great place in Paris. La Bodega Cambronne first of all differs with food quality and high quality ingredients and the owner is originally Spanish , we have made astral journay to Spain indeed. He was so sincere and kind.
We have ordered patatas bravas , fried calamar and seafood paella for two people. First two nice souce and bread welcomed us and then patatas bravas and fried calamar with garlic sauce came at the same time which was perfectly planned, then our amazing Paella. Definetely it was charming with every eating to taste and the owner was so warm and welcoming. In the end , he served us a Spanish liquor made of orange and almond which was like dessert we have eaten. We wanted to try dessert as well but we were full and like we were in heaven with amazing food experience.
Restaurant is cosy , well decorated, behind you eat you listen your Spanish music which is not disturbing and food mam mai a. If you go to Paris and want to have a tapas time , definitely recommend you not to miss!!! Prices are so reasonable and portions are also...
Read moreWaste of an evening. We visited the place after reading many positive reviews. Food was decent, but the service was total let-down, so much so that I feel the server was deliberately neglecting our order despite reminding 4-5 times. The first order of drinks and food arrived within average waiting time. When we placed the order again, the server completely forgot about our order on the first instance. Even after subsequent reminders, he just assured us that he has placed the ticket and it's coming (do couple of glasses of beer take over an hour to arrive?..... Actually they arrived when I asked for the bill). The second round of food arrived without the accompanying sauce. By then we were so frustrated that we decided not to ask for it and left most of the plate uneaten. Even though the place was full, I do not believe it to be the reason for such a delay as I could see all other tables getting served regularly. Plus as mentioned earlier, the beer does not need preparation. So overall, it was not a pleasant...
Read moreThe food was good but the service was a big no. Even though we ordered food and drinks (spent more than 100€ there) we were still bothered every 5 minutes to order even more during the 2.5hours we spent there. Could not have a conversation without the waiters interrupting. The waiters kept asking if we wanted more drinks even as our drinks were evidently still full, and even asked us to order desserts (we were full, didn’t want dessert..) but even though we still did because of the pressure, they were still coming. At the end our bill was placed on our table without us asking (it was basically them asking us to leave) so we got up and left. While we were paying the waiter clearly said that he was sorry and that it was his management asking him to empty a table (us) if we were not ordering constantly.
Will not come back and will not...
