Read moreI've had the distinct displeasure to visit this venue. We sat down and placed our order, prices were a bit steep but we decided to treat ourselves. Having ordered the appetisers and set our mains, we were eager to try the food. Appetizers themselves were massively overpriced and completely underwhelming. One of us had chanterelle mushrooms which were soggy and in a over slaty liquid - a far cry from a confit egg promised(21 euros). Octopus was cold( no warning) and other wise very mediocre(18 euros). We finished the appetisers and proceeded to wait for 40 minutes until we decided to enquire after our mains. Instead of food we were given the bill with a full charge applied. We calmly explained we haven't had the entrées and would like to have and eat them before we pay. They apologised and returned, to our surprise, with a corrected bill without the mains. Wine was around £12 a glass - perhaps, despite the price, the only redeeming factor in the whole what I can only call and absolute shambles of a service. Total for 3 glasses of wine and two starters came to a whopping €79 - please do think twice and maybe take two steps to the nextdoor, seafood restaurant - food in there was exquisite! Very...
Read moreWe came here last night as my partner had seen the restaurant a few days ago and thought it looked great. The staff were exceptional (despite the reviews i have seen) and very attentive. Despite the restaurant being busy, they got us a seat very quickly.
Now the food, i went for the Diva board and ny partner went for the truffle linguine. Both meals were great, really fresh and i enjoyed throughly. My only point here, my meal was a taco, hot dog and half a burger, the hot dog was nice and tbf, so were the other 2 but my taco and burger were all salad and the meat content was very small which was slightly disappointing. Partner loved the linguine.
The price, our bill consisted of the two mains above total 59 euros and then 2 drinks (beer and a small wine) shich came to 22 euros so the total 81 euros. For the price, its a little high for what we had i feel.
Overall, id definitely come back, great atmosphere and staff and food was decent. Not give 5 stars just for the 2 points around the meat...
