My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Méditerranée, and what a delightful experience it was! From the exquisite food to the attentive staff, our evening was truly memorable.
Starting with appetizers, my husband opted for the SAINT JACQUES MARINEES A CRU, which he described as beautifully presented and bursting with fresh flavor. I chose the SOUPE DE POISSON DE ROCHE, a rich and flavorful broth brimming with tender seafood. Both dishes were exceptional, showcasing the chef's expertise in preparing classic French cuisine.
For our main course, my husband embarked on a culinary journey with LA BOUILLABAISSE DE LA MEDITERRANEE. While he declared it "very good," we both agreed that the Bouillabaisse we'd enjoyed in the south of France near St. Tropez surpassed it. I indulged in the DAURADE ROYALE, a beautifully cooked sea bream with a delicate sauce that perfectly complemented the flaky fish.
We couldn't resist dessert, and the PARIS-TURIN, NOISETTES DU PIEMONT was a revelation. The combination of flavors and textures was truly divine, leaving us both wanting more.
The wine list was extensive and impressive, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us towards a selection that paired perfectly with our meal. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality throughout the evening further enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, our experience was excellent. The food was exceptional, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere elegant and inviting. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a true fine...
Read moreIf you think dinner in Paris can’t get better, let me introduce you to Méditerranée. We went in expecting a pleasant meal and left convinced we’d stumbled into some kind of Michelin-starred circus of deliciousness.
First, the wine. I don’t remember its name—probably because I was too busy whispering sweet nothings to my glass—but it was fantastic. The kind of wine that makes you want to quit your day job and study oenology just to better understand what just happened to your taste buds.
The food? Oh, the food! The bouillabaisse was so fresh I half-expected the fish to wink at me before diving into the broth. The duck confit was melt-in-your-mouth perfection—clearly the duck had lived a happy life before becoming the star of my plate. And then came the desserts and cheeses, which were so heavenly I briefly considered writing them a thank-you note.
But the pièce de résistance? Our waiter. Not only did he serve with charm, but at one point he casually revealed his side hustle as a juggler. Yes, you read that correctly—this man delivered bouillabaisse and then juggled. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had a dinner show and a fine French feast rolled into one.
If you want great food, great wine, and the possibility of your server being a part-time Cirque du Soleil recruit, Méditerranée is your spot. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a round of applause for the duck confit and the...
Read moreThe food is very average and they are super rude from the time of reservation, reception to the dining experience. They try to be creative but in my opinion their creativity does not enhance their dishes, only kills the taste of the actual seafood ingredient that’s is the main star of a dish. I ordered a Sole Meunière and it was the worst I had in my life. Everyone knows that Sole Meunière has to be cooked in burnt butter that’s the recipe. Their Sole had no sign of burnt butter, it looked like it was cooked in olive oil and didn’t taste like a Sole Meunière. When I politely complained to the waiter that there is no butter in this and this is not how it supposed to be, he became so rude and ignored our table for the rest of the night and he told his colleagues to do the same. I’m very surprised and shocked that this restaurant is recommended by Michelin guide, how can you recommend a seafood restaurant in Paris that has no idea of cooking a classical French seafood dish and its staff are so...
