We were in Paris for a long weekend and craving some good Italian food, so we decided to check out La Padellina after a friend recommended it. It was so good, we ended up going twice in five days!
The location is perfect—really close to Pigalle and Montmartre, so it’s a very convenient location to stop for dinner after exploring the surrounding area. The dark green exterior is really inviting, and inside, it’s cozy with a cork map of Italy and little souvenirs that give it a proper Italian vibe.
The service was amazing both times. The waiters were so attentive and friendly, and one of them even started singing Italian songs during dinner (he did a great Bella Ciao!), which was great touch.
The food? Absolutely delicious. Over two visits, my highlights were the pasta di mare with juicy pieces of scallops, an earthy truffle pasta dish served with steak and the rich tiramisùs - hands down sone of the best Italian food I’ve had in a while.
If you’re in Paris and in the mood for Italian, I’d definitely recommend La Padellina. Such...

Read moreCute place in a happening part of town located in a pedestrian alley with very reasonable prices. The food was pretty good although not the best of these types of dishes that I have ever had or anything. The standouts were the burrata and bruschetta appetizers. I had the “special” which was asparagus cream ravioli. It was a little bit bland and needed a lot of salt and pepper.
The service was pretty disappointing. Living in Paris I’ve come to expect service that is not that great unless you’re at an expensive restaurant but this was pretty bad. We arrived exactly at our reservation time and were seated immediately but then no one even came to talk to us for 25 minutes. No water even while we waited. Then when it was time to take our order, it took multiple trips back to the table for her to finish taking our complete order. It seemed disorganized and the staff seemed stressed. They may have been short-staffed or something. They seemed nice...
